"This past weekend, Midtown's Academic Decathlon team defeated the country's best to win the national championship. Later that day, they also defeated death." Said the boy on the small television for the school's morning announcements.

Abraham came onscreen. "Explosions Sally scream. Flash scream. Everybody screaming." He rambled.

"There were purple lasers and smoke everywhere. It was fucking tight, just like a Bon Jovi concert." Continued another team member.

"As you know, we made it out alive, and that's the important thing." Mr. Harrington stated. "I couldn't bear to lose a student on a school trip... not again."

"Thankfully, no one was seriously injured thanks to the Spider-Man and a mysterious new super hero girl who has recently come on scene."

Peter and Luna walked beside each other and stared up at the screens in amazement.

"It's great that, uh, that Spider-Man went and saved all those people." Luna commented.

"I thought you didn't like Spider-Man?" Peter eyed her questionably.

"Yeah, well...he saved my friends." Mumbled Luna, staring at the floor.

Peter's lips slightly curved up into a smile. "Yeah. I'm— I'm sure the girl was a great help, though." Peter stammered. Luna smiled to herself then trailed behind Peter down the stairs.

"Dude, dude, dude." Ned ran over excitedly. "What is it like being famous when nobody knows it's you?" He asked as Luna was still on her way down. Peter looked towards Luna for a moment, then back at Ned. "Crazy, dude." He whispered.

"It's crazy." Ned exclaimed. "Should we tell everyone?" He sighed.

"No." Peter shook his head.

"Should I tell everyone?" Ned grinned.

"No, dude. That's not a good idea." Peter chuckled.

"Not even Luna?" Ned raised his eyebrows.

"Definitely not." Peter repeated.

"Why not? She's your best friend, she won't tell anyone, she won't try and stop you, I don't— I don't see why we can't just tell her." Ned argued.

"Well, you know how in comic books the villains always go for people that the superhero cares about?" Peter began. Ned nodded.

"I care about Luna...a lot. I don't want her in danger." He explained. "And I'm sure you don't want that either."

"Don't want what?" Luna asked as she finally approached the boys.

"Nothing!" They both yelled.

"Okay... well, come on, we're gonna be late to class. I'll race you there." Luna smiled, then ran off.

After school, Luna got an alert from a very surprised Spider-Man, transmitted to her suit. He explained to her that he used his suit to contact her and that they had to meet up to discuss the 'bad guy stuff.'

Now, Luna was on her way to the roof of an apartment building, dressed in her suit. When she made it there, she found Peter in his suit laying down on his back. He seemed to be mumbling to himself.
