Luna sat on Peter's bed, searching through his suitcase for any missing essentials. "Shoes." Luna spoke up."Im gonna wear them." Peter responded.
Peter's phone buzzed on the bedside table. He lifted it up, then sighed. "Nick Fury's been calling me all day." He groaned. "Has he been calling you?"
"No." Luna replied.
"Luna, whatever happens, can we please just answer him after vacation? I just— I just really wanna have fun." Peter pleaded. Luna sighed, then shrugged. "Yeah, sure."
"Hungry?"
Peter jumped as a banana hit him across the face. He turned to his door. May was standing there, laughing. "So sorry. I thought that you could sense that with your... Peter Tingle."
Peter glanced at Luna for a quick second, then back to May in embarrassment. "Please do not start calling it my Peter Tingle." He requested.
"So, what's up? You can dodge bullets, but not bananas?" May questioned.
"No, I just really need this vacation. I need a break." Peter admitted. May smiled, then pulled Peter in for a hug. "You deserve it." On her way out, she stopped at the door. "You know what? You should pack your suit. Just in case. I have a tingle about it."
"Will you stop saying tingle, May?" Peter groaned.
"I've got a tingle taking a vacation isn't gonna work out for us." Luna spoke up. Peter spun around, then sighed. "Which is why, I have a tingle, to leave my suit here. You should, too." Peter urged.
"Peter, I don't know.." Luna trailed off. She looked at the suit neatly folded in her suitcase.
"Hey." Peter turned her head to face him. "Please?" He frowned. Luna hesitated for a moment, then smiled lightly. "Fine."
"Yes, thank you." Peter pressed a quick kiss to her lips, then zipped up his suitcase. "You ready to go? We're meeting Ned at the airport with the others." Peter said excitedly.
"Yeah.. just give me a minute. I have to use the bathroom. I'll meet you by the bus station." Luna nodded. When Peter was out of the room, Luna stared at her suit, which was still folded among her other belongings.
She glanced at the door, and back at her suitcase with hesitance. She knew she shouldn't, but regardless, she kept the suit inside, and made her way out.
On the plane, Luna sat in between Ned and Peter, which was uncomfortable, to say the least. "Yo, Parker!" Flash called out as he was holding a champagne glass.
The plane wasn't in the air yet, and people were still finding their seats. "This is called a plane. It's like the buses you're used to, except it flies over the poor neighborhoods instead of driving through them." Flash said confidently.
"Ma'am." MJ, who was walking past, spoke up. The flight attendant beside Flash looked to the girl. "He blipped. So, technically, he's 16, not 21." MJ stated.
"I'll take that." The flight attendant reached for the drink.
"She's— she's lying. I don't even know this girl!" Flash yelled as he chased after the woman.
MJ smiled at Peter before walking off. "Classic MJ right?" Said Brad, one of the students that were new to Peter, Luna, and Ned once they returned from the blip.
"Did you know Brad was coming?" Peter sighed.
"No. I don't my think so." Luna shook her head.
"It's so weird. I mean.. one day he's that little kid who cried and got nosebleeds all the time, and suddenly, we blipped back and he's totally ripped and super nice and— and all these girls are after him." Ned chuckled.
"Not all the girls are after him." Peter argued hesitantly.
"I wouldn't know about that..." Luna smirked. Peter glanced at Luna, then shook his head slowly.
"See? Even Luna. Literally all the girls are after him." Ned concluded.
"Ned, I can see your drool." Luna teased as she played one of the games on the screen. "Shut up." Ned shoved her.
"Anyway." Ned smiled. "Onto more important things... this is a nine hour flight.. we can play Beast Slayers the whole time." Ned suggested.
"Ned, we were actually thinking of.. watching a movie together." Peter spoke up. He looked to Luna.
"Oh, cool. Which movie are we watching?" Ned smiled.
"Ned, it's just.. just Peter and I." Luna muttered.
"Oh." Ned nodded. "I see how it is." He squinted his eyes.
"You're acting like—" Peter began.
"Peter, forget it." Luna whispered.
"But he's acting like we just went shopping without him." Peter whispered. Luna chuckled, then reached her hand up to ruffle up his hair. Peter smiled faintly.
"He's moved on." Luna grinned.
"Quit, doing that to my hair. It messes it up." Peter raised his arms to fix it again, but Luna pulled them down.
"Your hair looks nice." She argued.
"You know what? I'm going to sit next to Betty, because I've had enough of this foolishness." Ned scoffed. He angrily stood up, and stomped his way over to where Betty sat.
Throughout the entire nine hour flight to Italy, Luna and Peter watched movies, played games, and slept. At one point, mid-watching a movie, Peter paused it.
"Would you date Brad?" He whispered. Luna furrowed her eyebrows. She glanced back at Brad, who was seated beside MJ.
"Why?" She questioned.
"Because he keeps staring at you." Peter admitted. He sank into his seat. Luna turned towards Brad once again. He smiled to her and waved.
"It's nothing. He knows we're dating, right?" Luna assured.
"Does he?" Peter raised his eyebrows.
"He'll find out." Luna shook her head.
"Well, you never answered my question.." Peter mumbled.
"No, Peter, I wouldn't date him. I was kidding earlier, alright? You and I have been dating for, like, 3 years, now, and we've been best friends for so long, so I think you should be able to tell when I'm joking." Luna stated with an amusing smile.
"Right, Yeah. Sorry." Peter mumbled. Luna tilted her head. Her hair slightly covered her face. "I love you." She spoke up.
"I know."
