The next morning, Luna noticed that Ned and Peter were distant from her. She realized it in the morning when Ned told her he wanted to walk to school alone with Peter.

In all the classes she had with them, neither Peter nor Ned sat next to her even once. She knew they were up to something, but she didn't know what.

By gym class, they were still whispering. She lay on her mat, doing a few sit ups on her own without anyone holding down her feet.

"Ned, just, shh, okay?" Said Peter in clear annoyance.

"What are you two on about? You've been whispering back and forth all day and I want in." Luna spoke finally.

They both turned to look at her. Ned raised his eyebrows, then glanced at Peter. Peter shook his head slowly.

"Boy stuff." Ned quickly responded.

Luna furrowed her eyebrows. "Boy.. stuff?" She repeated.

"Yeah, you wouldn't get it." Peter added.

"Cause you're a girl." Continued Ned.

Luna sighed and continued her sit ups effortlessly.

"Looking good, Parker." The gym teacher said to Peter as he passed by. "Even better, Leeds." He added.

"Thank you, coach." Ned responded. The man stopped walking, then looked to the boy. "I meant your sister."

"Oh, right." Ned nodded.

"Now, see, for me, it would be F Thor...marry Iron Man and kill Hulk" Said Betty to Liz and two other students as they sat on the bleachers.

"Well, what about the Spider-Man?" Said a boy sitting beside Liz. This grabbed all Ned, Peter, and Luna's attention.

"It's just 'Spider-Man'." Liz corrected. "Did you guys see the bank security cam on YouTube? He fought off four guys." She said in awe.

"Well, there was someone else. A girl. I've never seen her before." Commented Betty. Luna listened in with interest.

"She barely did anything. Besides, she only arrived later." Argued Liz.

Luna scoffed, then returned to her sit ups.

"Oh, my God, she's crushing on Spider-Man." Betty chuckled.

"No way." The boy beside Liz spoke up once more.

"Kind of." Liz grinned.

"Oh, gross." Betty shook her head in disappointment. Luna glanced back at Peter and Ned, who's mouths were hanging open.

"He's probably, like, 30." Continued Betty in disgust.

"You don't even know what he looks like. Like, what if he's seriously burned?" Asked the boy.

"I wouldn't care. I'd still love him for the person he is on the inside." Liz responded confidently.

"Gross." Muttered Luna just loud enough for Ned and Peter to hear.

Peter looked to Luna with a sigh, then stared back at Liz.

"Peter knows Spider-Man!" Ned suddenly shouted. The entire gym went silent and all the attention landed on the two boys.

Luna opened her mouth in shock. By the way Ned was acting, she could tell exactly what happened. Ned somehow found out that Peter was Spider-Man, and they weren't going to tell her.

"Uh— no, I don't. No. I— I mean—" Peter stammered.

 "They're friends." Continued Ned.

"Yeah, like Coach Wilson and Captain America are friends." Flash spoke up with a laugh.
