Luna had no clue why, but the morning of the Decathlon, Peter miraculously decided to join in. She assumed this had something to do with the bad guys, and once again, had her suit packed and ready for any stupid decision he was bound to make.

On the bus, Liz asked everyone questions. "Focus up, everyone." She stated. "Our next topic is the moons of Saturn."

Mid-questions, Peter got a phone call from Happy. Luna looked to Peter.

"Stark internship." He explained. She nodded.

"Can I take this real quick? I'll only be a sec." Peter requested.

"Yeah, fine." Liz nodded.

"Hello?" Peter picked up the phone. Luna sat up on her knees on the bus bench, staring back at him as Liz continued on.

"Yeah, no, it's just a school trip. It's, uh, nothing." Peter continued and took a seat behind Ned. "Look, Happy, I gotta say, you tracking me without my permission is a complete violation of my privacy." He added. "Nothing. Look, it's just the Academic Decathlon. It's no big deal." Peter said angrily. After a moment, Peter hung up.

"Hey, what was that all about?" Luna called out.

"It's nothing." Peter sighed.

"Hey, Luna, we need you to focus here." Liz spoke up.

"Sorry, Liz." Luna turned back to the front.

When they arrived at the hotel, Liz and Mr. Harrington lead the group through the Lobby.

"Everyone stick together." Instructed Liz.

"You kidding me? This place is huge." Commented Charles.

"I've seen bigger." Flash responded.

"Is that what your girlfriend Black Widow told you?" Luna asked as she momentarily set her hand on his shoulder. He sent her an angered glare.

"There's a bird in here." Abraham pointed out.

For the rest of the day, Luna spent her time sitting in the hotel room on her laptop. At one point, she decided to go out and sit on the roof, and that's where she stayed.

The cold air was calming to her. She almost forgot about her problems, until she heard Peter sneaking out of his room. Having prepared for something like this to happen, she was already dressed in her suit underneath a hoodie.

She peered over the roof, looking down at her friend. Before Peter could get anywhere, he was approached by Liz in her swimsuit.

"Hey, Liz." Said Peter.

"Perfect timing." She whispered. "We're gonna go swimming." Liz motioned for the rest of the team to follow her.

They all excitedly ran past.

"I was, uh— I was gonna go to study in the business center." Peter explained.

"Peter, you don't need to study. You're, like, the smartest guy I've ever met."

Luna sighed, then looked off to her side for a moment.

"And besides...um, a rebellious group activity the day before competition is good for morale." Liz continued.

Part of Luna wanted Peter to avoid the bad guys and go swimming with Liz, but part of her felt strange. She never felt this way when Liz and Peter spoke, yet now, since Peter had been ignoring her, she felt hurt.

"Hmm?" Peter questioned.

"Um, well, I read that in a TED Talk, so— I— I heard it in a TED Talk, so.." Liz chuckled. "And I read a coaching book." She added quickly.
