Luna was lying on her bed when she heard Peter's voice outside the door. She got up to open it, and Peter was left alone out in the hall, still dressed in his formal clothes."Hey."
Peter turned around, then smiled. "Hey."
"How'd it go with Mysterio?" She asked. She leaned up against the doorframe.
"Uh.. it went.. It went fine." Peter nodded.
"Anyway, uh.. so much for the trip." Luna shrugged.
"Yeah. Just found out. Would have been fun." Peter sighed.
"Would have." Luna agreed silently. "Well.. Goodnight."
"Night." Peter responded in nearly a whisper as Luna began closing the door. Once it was shut, Luna leaned up against it, shutting her eyes closed and scrunching up her features.
She missed how it used to be between her and Peter. After Tony's death, nothing was ever the same, including their relationship. Luna shook her head, then stood back up straight.
Just as she opened the door again, it appeared that Peter was just about to knock at the same time. "Oh!" She shouted in fright. "Hey."
"Uh.. look, Um. I'm not ready for this trip to be over yet.. and I mean— the elementals are gone, and I kinda wanna do something fun that's not on the itinerary or the plan with Mr. Harrington." Peter stated nervously as he held onto his backpack strap.
"Yes." Luna replied.
"Yes.. like.. you wanna go?" Peter questioned in confusion.
"Yes."
"Oh. Okay, awesome. I'll see you outside in ten minutes?" Peter suggested.
"Meet me outside in five minutes." Luna smiled.
"Five is good." Peter chuckled anxiously. "Alright, uh.. bye." He held his hand up for a short wave.
"Bye." Luna pursed her lips, then shut her door once more.
By the time she made her way downstairs, Peter was leaning up against a pillar, watching the news on the fight against the elemental.
"What are they calling me?" Luna asked, startling him for a moment.
"You were so quiet. How'd you get here?" He asked. Luna didn't respond, so Peter chose to answer her previous question. "They're not really calling you anything cause no one... saw you." Peter trailed off. Luna scoffed, then crossed her arms. "Figures. It's fine, Night Monkey. So, where do you wanna go?" Luna asked.
"Uh.. where do you wanna go?" Peter raised his eyebrows.
"Who cares." Luna shrugged with a soft laugh.
"Awesome." Peter commented.
"Okay." Luna smiled.
"Let's go."
They began walking out. Directly out of the hotel, was a bridge. They continued into it.
"I'm glad we're doing this." Peter stated.
"Yeah. M-Me, too." Luna stammered.
"To see the city a little bit.." Added Peter. "And, uh... I miss doing this with you."
"I do, too." Luna smiled.
"And I had this plan, and I just wanted to tell you I l—"
Suddenly, something in Luna's bag glowed blue. In a panic, Luna dropped her bag, and the piece of technology, that she had picked up earlier, fell out. It seemed to have activated some sort of hologram of one of the elementals.
