Chapter 30

Morgan POV

I woke up underwater. I sat up quickly and gasped for air. Pushing the water and hair out of my face. I was so confused. Where am I? How did I get here? I felt strong arms lift me out of the water.

I looked around and realised I was at the lake. I looked into the face of the person holding me. My heart skipped a beat. He walked me to the edge of the woods, I looked into his eyes and touched his face. He snuggled into my touch. "Caelan" I said breathlessly.

"It's me beautiful, I'm here". And he gently placed me on the ground. Bobby put a jacket around me. I didn't realise I was shivering. My body felt amazing. I felt so strong and so connected to the Earth. I could hear the crickets in the grass, the fish in the lake bobbing around, I could smell the trees and flowers. I put my hands on the ground and I could feel the earths heart beating under my hand.

I looked at Caelan and he was just watching me. Bobby walked over to me, kissed me the head, "I'll see you at home" then he ran off.

"Do you need anything?" Caelan asked gently.
"I have everything I need right here" I smiled brightly at him.

He sat next to me and wrapped his arms around his knees. I stood up and looked over the lake. I put my hand out and the lake gave me water. That's new. I walked to the edge of the woods and seen a withering flower.

I walked to the lake and gathered some water in my hands. It didn't pour out of my fingers like I thought it would. I walked over to the withering plant and put the water on it. I looked at the sun and beckoned a ray of light to go to the flower.

I put my hand on the floor at the base of the flower. I willed it to grow and it did. It bloomed into a beautiful full flower.

I was more connected to the Earth then I could have ever dreamed. I looked over at Caelan and he was watching me intently. I walked over to him and sat in front of him. He looked so tired. I moved some stray hair off of face. The face I had grown to love. I took his hand in mine and looked into his beautiful green eyes. I leant forward and kissed him.
Caelans POV

I was watching Morgan moving around. It was like I was seeing her for the first time. As much as I appreciated Bobby and him being with me when I needed it, I was glad he left, this moment was magical and I selfishly didn't want to share it.

She went to the edge of the lake and the water moved to her. How did she do that? Amazing! She was walking around and went to the edge of the woods she was looking at something, I have no idea what, I couldn't stop watching her, she was mesmerising. Like the girl, Meredith, in my dream.

She walked back to the lake and collected some water, she poured it onto something, then moved a sun beam, the power she has is truly unreal, then she put her hand on the ground. I noticed a beautiful flower bloom.

'Protect nature' the oath Morgan took, it all makes so much more sense now.
She's perfect. In every way.

She walked over to me, sat down and took my hand. Then she kissed me. My heart started pounding in my chest, it was like someone turned a switch on, I placed my hands on her waist. And started to kiss her neck, she straddled me and wrapped her legs around me. I went to kiss her again but she pulled back a little.
"I need to take you home to bed, you look exhausted" she said smiling whilst staring into my eyes and stroking my face.
I have to admit, I was completely spent.

"I'm only going to agree because I only heard the fist 8 words of what you just said" she laughed.
