Caelan sat in Miriam's seat.

"You're going to leave me?" He said sadly but could see he was angry.

"I came here to find my brother you know that" I said trying to keep my cool.
"And I found you, I'll go with you" he said.

"Caelan you can't leave, your pack needs you".
"And I need you. All of this will be for nothing if you're not by my side". He said "I have waited my whole life for you, I would give up everything, Bobby can be their alpha."
"But you love being alpha" I said.
"Not as much as I love you" he looked me straight in the eye when he said that. His aura was so bright it was almost blinding. That's the first time he's said it.
"I love you too" I replied. It felt perfect saying it back.

"I can't promise that we'll find your brother Morgan, but I can promise that I will help you, I'll speak to the other packs, get the word out to keep searching for him. We can send small teams to different parts of the country if that's what it takes. I have a lot of connections and.." before he could finish speaking I kissed him. He looked shocked for a second then kissed me back.

"Do you promise" I said breathlessly, a tear falling down my face.
He wiped it off with his thumb.

"I promise" he kissed me again.

"The kids are fast learners" I said to Jax "impressive".
Reuben looked over at me and smiled proudly. "He can hear you" Jax chuckled. I laughed, of course he can.

I taught them how to stand their ground and how to take out a vamp. The most efficient ways to kill one.

"Guys you have done an amazing job today and you have made your Luna super proud, we still have a lot to learn but you should all know that you're all warriors in the making."

The older kids stood strong with their fists over their hearts, the younger one looked at them and copied. Oh lord how bloody adorable!

I dismissed them.
I felt arms wrap around me and he whispered in my ear. "You have a way with the kids"

"They're great kids, you should be proud" I smiled and leaned back into him.
"Hungry?" He asked
"Always" I replied. He chuckled and we went to the house.

We were eating a pasta dish Miriam had made before she left to get herself ready for the training. Just chatting and enjoying each other when Caelans phone rang, "I have to take this I won't be long" he kissed me then went to his office.

I was cleaning up when I heard the door open and a girl snook in.
"Can I help you?" I asked with my hands on my hips.

"Oh, sorry Morgan, is Caelan here?" She smelt cheap and she addressed us as Morgan and Caelan not Luna and alpha, I thought it was weird.
"He's not here, can I help?"

"No offence but I'm not really into the whole girl on girl thing, only Caelan can satisfy my needs" she gave me a fake smile
I tried to keep calm.

"Excuse me?" Is all I could muster up.
"Well he's told you about us, hasn't he? I'm Mary" she put a very badly manicured hand out weakly for me to shake. Or break. I wasn't sure. I just looked at her.

"Tell me what you mean Mary" I haven't got time for this shit.

"Well Caelan and I have been together for quite some time, your being here won't change that. I see he hasn't marked you. We were talking about him marking me only a few days ago."

"While I was in the hospital?"

"Well the doctors didn't think you would make it, I'm surprised to see you here actually, how did you come out of the coma?" She asked slyly. I really don't like her. "He told me I was the only one for him and when you died we would continue our relationship". She smiled at me.
