Luckily I'm not the jealous or easily intimidated type.
I hadn't noticed before but she had a terribly black aura around her. She can't be trusted.

"Oh well if that's the case then I guess you should have Caelan for yourself. It's only fair" I said. she looked at me with her mouth open.

"I mean look at you, I can't compete with you, you're a wolf and I'm not for starters"
She stood in front of me triumphantly. Her head up high.  "Yes I am a much better suited Luna" she said.

"Well, I won't fight over a man, I wouldn't ever be so desperate" she looked taken aback and scowled at me.

Just then Caelan walked in smiling. Then his face dropped when he saw Mary. So did hers.

"You, you said he wasn't here" she sounded very uncomfortable.
"He wasn't, he was in the other room" I didn't lie.

"What the fuck are you doing here?" Caelan growled at her

"It's all good babe, she was telling me how you two are still together and planning your future while I was dying in a hospital bed." I said.
I was enjoying this way too much.
I think Mary visibly shrunk right in front of my eyes.

Caelans neck vain was throbbing. Ooh he's really pissed.

"I would NEVER leave Morgan for a mutt like you. We are over and have been for weeks, the only reason I didn't break your bones in the hospital was because I needed all the staff taking caring of her and not wasting a second on you!" He shouted and pointed. She ran out the door.

"Shit man that was scary" I giggled
"You didn't believe her did you?" He sounded panicked
"Believe a crazy ex with a black aura? Not on your nelly" I smiled at him.  He relaxed.

"I have no idea what not on your nelly means" He said. We both laughed.

"Who was on the phone anyway? You looked really happy when you walked in"
"If I told you then it wouldn't be a surprise would it" he gave me his biggest smile.
He took my hand and we walked outside, 2 Land rovers pulled up.

We stood and waited. Maybe they were some ally pack members coming to help.
The drivers door opened of the first Land Rover and I heard a very familiar voice "ah look at my niñita, all grown up!"

"Matiás!!" I ran up to him and hugged him, I could've cried. I've missed him so much.

Wang got out the other side and just nodded at me. I nodded back. It wasn't weird.

A couple of guys got out the back who I didn't recognise and said hi.

The driver of the other Land Rover walked out, it was Li Jun, he nodded too, I waved, then Dez stepped out the other side. He waved at me, a tear fell from my eye.

The back door opened and a girl about my age stepped out. She gave me a wave.

Dez opened the other door and helped someone out.. the pack members in the area all fell to their knees.

When she got into view I could see why.
Meredith.

She was positively glowing. I looked at Caelan and he looked mesmerised by her. 

Dez walked her over to me, we hugged for the longest time. "You are stronger Morgan, I can feel the power radiating off you" she smiled at me.
"Meredith I thought you died" I cried and hugged her. She giggled, it was a light tinkly sound.
"I'm very much alive Morgan."

"I'd like you to meet my friends" I took her hand and walked her over to Caelan.

"I wasn't sure if you were real or if it was a lack of sleep" Caelan smiled and shook Merediths hand, she gave her tinkly laugh,

"oh I was very much real! And I am so glad you heeded my advice and saved my beautiful Morgan" she smiled kindly at him.
"I would do anything for her" he was looking at me now.

I wiped the tears off my face with my sleeve. Then I heard someone clearing their throat behind me.
"Sorry, Caelan this is Matiás, Matiás this is Caelan" I introduced them,

"So I see you have won the heart of my niñita" he smiled and reached out to shake Caelans hand, once he had it he pulled Caelan into him so he could whisper,
"shes my niñita, if you hurt her, I'll lluvia infierno fuego sobre ti"
"There'll be no need for that Matiás, la amaré hasta mi último aliento" Caelan replied.

Holy shit Caelan speaks Spanish! He looked at me and winked.

Matiás put his arm around Caelans shoulder and laughed "ah Mi amigo" and we all walked into the house. Dez was looking around, taking it all in. He seemed so calm and at peace here.

Miriam went to bow at Meredith but she was stopped.

"Miriam thank you, I am not your goddess" Meredith smiled at her.
Miriam looked so confused
"But, but you look exactly as I had pictured her".

"I get that a lot" she winked at Caelan.
