We slept all morning.

I got dressed -finally in my own clothes.
We went to the kitchen ready for lunch. Miriam must've heard our belly's rumbling, as soon as we sat down a beautiful chicken salad was put in front of us.
It tasted so good.

We ate and talked. I felt my age. Something I haven't felt for such a long time. It was so refreshing.

"Are there are any clothes shops in the town?" I asked Caelan after my belly was full.

"Yeah there's a few, would you like me to take you shopping?" He raised an eyebrow.

"Haha no, I'm down to 2 pairs of undies and could do with some new training gear". I replied.

"Training gear? What do you need training gear for?" He asked curiously
"Because starting tomorrow morning, every able bodied pack member will join me for some training".
"We have warriors to defend the pack" Caelan explained.

"I'm aware of that Caelan, but you also have a large amount of pack members who can barely defend themselves. There's a war coming, everyone should stand up. If you can't stand up for yourself, then how do you protect those who need you?" I repeated Matiás's words.

"Erm, ok.." he sounded unsure
"6am I will train with the warriors for 2 hours, 9am with the children for 2 hours.."

"The children? Are you out of your mind? No way are children standing up to any vamps, they'll be killed instantly, they don't have their wolves to protect them!" He sounded angry,

"And If a vamp broke into your safe house? One kid would barely scratch it, 50 kids could take it out. They're your next generation of fighters and warriors. They need to do this".

Just as he was about to protest...

"Our Luna is right alpha, if I could've protected myself she would never have ended up in the hospital, if the children could've stood their ground they wouldn't have been running off and getting caught. It makes sense and you know it" Miriam stood behind me with her hands on my shoulders.

Caelan looked defeated

"Is this how it's going to be? You two ganging up on me?" He said

Miriam and I looked at each other "yep" we laughed.

I could see a smile on his face, even though he was trying to hide it.

"We better get to the shops then, go and get your things" he said.
"Yes alpha" I said fluttering my eyelashes, he smacked my backside I laughed and went to get my bag.
Caelan parked his Jeep in a small carpark. I looked around. It's such a beautiful little town. He took me into a sports shop.
I looked at the trainers and training clothes while Caelan went to talk to the guy behind the counter, they were laughing so I'm guessing they were friends. I picked 3 tops, 2 shorts, 1 bottoms and a pair of trainers. Walking to the counter I seen some sorts bras, they'll come in handy, I don't have much in the boob department but it's much easier when they're strapped down. I grabbed 2 in my size and went to the till.

"How hard are you planning on training?" He smiled at me.
"What? 1 to wear and 1 to wash" I said casually

"So why do you have 3 tops?"
"Why are you questioning what I'm buying?" I snapped

"Don't get snappy I'm happy you're getting stocked up, looks like you're planning on staying" he smiled and winked at me.

I raised an eyebrow "well if you must know, one set is for Miriam, she doesn't seem the type to sport joggers and t.shirts" I shrugged my shoulder at him.

He looked a little gutted but I'm not sure what I'm doing yet. I don't want to give him false hope.

The guy behind the counter rang up my goods and Caelan handed his card over.
"I can pay for my own stuff thanks" I said

"I know, but so can I" he said stubbornly. I looked at the guy behind the counter, "I'll be paying thank you"
"Niall take the card" he growled at me
"Niall do not take the card, I will be paying cash" I glared at Caelan. I did feel a bit sorry for Niall.

Niall went to take the card. I looked at him then looked at Caelan who had a stupid grin on his face.

"I'll just train in what Im wearing" and I went to walk out, Caelan called after me "I'll get them anyway".
I turned to look at him and said "and you'll look lovely them in" I flipped him off with both hands stuck my tongue out and walked out the door.

Childish I know, but I've taken care of myself for so long, I don't need some guy thinking he can do a better job. Fuck him. Dick head.

I walked into the shop next door which sold ladies clothes. I was desperate for underwear. I walked up to the bras and found some comfy looking t.shirt bras, I got 4 black ones. Then made my way over the panties, I picked up a pack of 5 high leg ones, comfort over sexiness is what granny told me. Couldn't imagine the pain of a thong when I'm doing a drop kick on a vamp. I shuddered at the thought.

I picked up a pack of 10 pairs of socks on my way to the till. The older lady at the counter looked quite familiar but I couldn't place her, she was around 50 I would say, very nicely spoken and maybe a little timid. Her name badge said 'Tess'.

"What a pleasure it is to have you in my store my Luna" she smiled and bagged my goods up she must've been at the meet and greet, that's why she looks familiar.

"please accept this underwear as gift from me" she said and bowed.
"That's really not necessary, but I do appreciate the sentiment, what kind of Luna would I be if I accepted everything for free? The town would go broke" I gave her a gentle smile.

She looked a little taken aback
"That's a very courteous attitude my Luna" she bowed again

"Please call me Morgan, and you really don't need to bow, I'd like to have friends not subjects" I smiled "and why did you look so shocked I'd have a courteous attitude?" I questioned.

"I'm sorry lu.. er Morgan, but I shouldn't speak out of turn"
I looked around the shop and it was empty

"You can speak how ever you like to me Tess" I said urging her on.
"Er, the alphas previous lady friends haven't always been so.... gracious" she said staring down.

"Oh really?" I said
"That's a super nice way of saying his exes were rotters" I smiled. Tess laughed.
"Well, in some cases my week old trash has been more appealing" she said. I laughed loudly. So did Tess.

"Are you coming to the training tomorrow Tess?" I was still laughing.
"Yes, I'll be there, front and centre and she gave me a thumbs up" the door opened and Caelan walked in.

"making friends I see" he had his arms crossed over his chest and a smirk on his face.
"Well in this store, right now, Tess is the only person I like" I strolled past him and out the door. Caelan rolled his eyes.

"What is your problem Morgan?" He grabbed my arm. I stared at it, then stared at him. He let go.

"You embarrassed me in that store Caelan, I am quite capable of looking after myself, I'm not one of your desperate little whores" I gave him a fake smile and walked back to his jeep. He followed me.

"Am I supposed to know what that means?" He asked.
