Since I could hardly sleep last night, I was awake earlier than everyone else. I heard Mr. and Mrs. DeSantos both get ready for work and then leave. Neither one of them checked in me this morning, which was a little relieving. To me, if felt like they were starting to trust me a little more and that made me feel better.
I decided that since I was awake, that I was going to go to the Command Center and talk to Zordon about the letters. I should have waited for Rocky because he said he would go with me, but it was hard for us to do that because there was always that chance that one of the others were going to be there and right now, only two of them had gotten their letters. I didn't want the other four of them to know about them just yet. Though, I didn't want them to get them at all. I needed advice from Zordon about what to do about it.
I double checked that Mr. and Mrs. had both left before standing up and grabbing onto my communicator. I closed my eyes and then thought about the Command Center. It took less than a minute for me to land there and it looked like Alpha was busy working on something when I got there. He said a quick hello and then continued whatever he was working on. I walked over to Zordon's tube and waited for him appear – which he did right as I walked over to him.
"Danielle, is everything alright? What brings you here so early in the morning?" Zordon asked.
"I'm sorry if I'm bothering you right now." I muttered as I started fidgeting with my fingers.
"You're welcome here anytime Danielle." Zordon said.
"So, something weird has been happening and I don't really know what to do about it." I started to explain.
"What has been happening?" Zordon asked.
"So, one night when I was... locked in the basement, I had a terrible moment of weakness..." I struggled to find the words right now.
Zordon was being patient with me and didn't seem annoyed that I was having a hard time finding the words to explain his situation.
"I wrote six letters. One to Aisha, Rocky, Tommy, Adam, Billy, and Kimberly. To my knowledge, those letters were still down there. Nobody else but me knew about them. I stuffed them in a box with a bunch of other papers. Well, just a few days ago... Rocky got his, and so did Aisha." I continued explaining.
"What did these letters contain?" Zordon asked.
"They were apology letters, and I guess... I guess they could be taken as suicide letters too. I didn't think I was ever going to be found when I wrote those, so I guess they were kind of..." I muttered.
"Are you sure you were the only person who knew about them?" he asked.
"I believe so yes. I don't know who could have found them, but they're slowly being delivered to each person and I don't know who could be doing this. Whoever it was, was in Rocky's house because his was left on his bedside table. Aisha's was in her bag." I told him.
"That is very strange Danielle and I'm glad you have brought it to my attention. While I do not have an answer for you at this moment, I will surely start looking into this to see if I can detect who might be doing this." Zordon said.
"Thank you, Zordon. What should I do about the other four letters? I don't think they've been handed out yet. Should I tell them about it before they get it? Or not say anything at all and hope they don't get them?" I looked at him.
"I would urge you to tell the others so that they are aware of this situation as well, just in case there truly are harmful intentions here. This way, they can be on the look out for anything suspicious as well." Zordon told me.
