When I woke up the next morning, well before everyone else, Adam was still sound asleep while laying on me. He looked so peaceful sleeping and I didn't want to wake him up. Though, I did shift a little bit so that I could pull my blanket somewhat over me. It sounded like the air conditioning was on and that was just making me cold. Adam shifted with me but didn't move off of me one bit.

I closed my eyes back, hoping to fall asleep for a little while longer... but that didn't happen. My brain kick started the first time I opened my eyes and that was enough to already set me up for a bad day... but I simply did not want to talk about it. I just had to make it through the morning and then I had to go to work and hopefully that would distract me for a little while.

After laying there with Adam, I decided that I could no longer hold my bladder. If I didn't get up and use the bathroom right now, I was going to wet the bed. So, I had no choice but to crawl out from underneath Adam. He stirred for half a second, but probably didn't even realize that I had gotten up. He just looked tired sleeping there. I quickly ran to the bathroom and took care of my business. It didn't sound like anyone else was awake – but at this point, I really didn't care if anyone saw me using the bathroom. It was bound to happen at some point until I could learn to get over my fear of having a door closed.

I finished up in the bathroom and then returned to my room, seeing that Adam had indeed woken up. He didn't look very worried about me leaving the room when I crawled back into my bed with him. I didn't lay back down though because I knew I couldn't go back to sleep. Adam looked at me with sleep filled eyes.

"Go back to bed." I told him, patting the pillow for him to lay his head on.

"Are you going back to bed?" Adam asked.

"No." I shook my head, "I'm too awake now."

"Then I'm staying up too." He sat up and started rubbing his eyes.

"No, you're tired. Please go back to bed. I promise I'm not going anywhere." I looked at him.

"When did you get up?" he asked me.

"About an hour ago." I answered him.

"What time is it?" he asked.

"I have no clue, baby. Just go back to bed – I can see that you're still tired." I told him.

"I'll be fine. Is my grandma still here?" he asked. He was full of questions this morning.

"I think so yeah..." I shrugged.

"It is cold in here." Adam shivered.

"Yeah, I know. I couldn't get my blanket out from underneath your heavy ass." I teased him.

"Should have just pushed me off the bed." He chuckled.

"Yeah, last time I tried to do that, I pushed myself off the bed." I rolled my eyes.

"Here." Adam stood up and pulled the blanket out from right underneath me because I was still laying on it. Then he sat back down and covered the bottom of half of us up with the blanket. I stared at him while he yawned.

"Are you okay?" I asked him.

"I'm okay. Are you okay?" he looked back at me.

"No – but I will be." I shrugged.

"I'm sorry." He sighed, scooting closer to me.

"Don't be." I gave him a faint smile. "I'll get through this somehow..."

"Don't think about all that right now, Danielle. Try and go back to bed with me, please?" he pouted while looking at me.

"I'm not going back to bed. I need to stay up and do something productive before work." I muttered.
