It's finally time for the English period. Seonji and I went to class and there he is! He is sitting at the back near the window. Seonji hurriedly pulled me and made me sat next to him.
I'm acting like I'm in a high school drama! What's wrong with me?!
Sitting next to him made me nervous that my palm is so sweaty. Seonji signaled a go sign to talk to him. I suddenly can't think of anything so I decided to introduce myself first.
"S-seonbaenim Annyeonghaseyo, My name is Hwang Yebin! Nice to meet you!"I said. My gosh, why did I stutter? I was looking at him, waiting for him to talk but he just looked at me for a few seconds and look away. That's it? I looked at Seonji asking for help and she just mouthed 'Try to talk to him more'.I don't really know what to say so I just think of something that comes to my mind.
"Seonbaenim! Your shirt looks good on you" Well I'm saying the truth. As a person who's studying fashion,I really like his fit. His shirt really compliments his skin tone.
I looked over at him and saw that he wasn't even looking at me. Didn't he heard what I said?
Should I repeat it? I took a deep breath and repeated what I said, this time in a louder voice.
"Seonbaenim! Your shirt looks good on you!" This time he looked at me.
"So? Did I ask for your opinion? Can you keep quiet? I wanna take a nap" he said.
Ouch!
I lowered my head since that's kinda embarrassing.
Did he have a bad day? I guess he's not in a good mood today..that's right! I'll just try again tomorrow!
Seonji went near me and whispered. "How did it go?"
"I don't know.it's fine...I guess? since he did talk to me but...I guess he's not in a good mood"
"Oh okay, try talking to him tomorrow"
