My mother lavished Hyungwon with compliments as soon as we arrived at my family's home. Hyungwon was uneasy, but he made an effort to be respectful.

"Oh my! Is this your boyfriend? No wonder, He is so handsome!" Mom said.

"Mom! You can stop now, he is clearly uncomfortable" I told my mom secretly. She nodded and excused herself. Hyungwon is just standing by the door so I escorted him to the couch.

"Make yourself at home! You don't have to try to impress them; they were already impressed when I told them I liked you "I stated. They were awed when I told them I liked him because it was my first time, and they wanted to know what type of person he was to make me fall in love with him.

"Your house is big" It's the first thing he said when we got here.

"But it does feel empty without our daughter" My dad said as he enter the living room. Hyungwon and I looked at him.

"Daddy!!" I said as I run to him for a hug. He immediately hugged me back and pat my head.

"Your boyfriend is here yet you're still acting like a baby" My dad said, chuckling at my sudden affection.

"I'm sure he'll understand"

"The cheesecake is done, you want to bring him to the dining table or eat in the living room?" I let go of my dad and went to my boyfriend.

"My dad is asking where do you want to eat" I said.

"Anywhere is fine" he said. I smiled at him and went back to dad.

"I'll just bring it to the living room." I said.

"Let your brother do it. Stay with your boyfriend, I'm sure he still feels uncomfortable." My dad said.

"Thank you dad!" He patted my hair and left the living room. I sat next to Hyungwon who is playing with his phone right now.

"Are you okay?" I asked.

"Do I look okay?"

"Sorry" It almost became awkward but thank goodness my brother arrived, holding the cheesecakes.

"I'm not your maid." he said as he placed the cheesecake on the table.

"Dad wants you to bring it, not me" I said. He rolled his eyes and turned his gaze to my boyfriend who is sitting next to me.

"Hyung, please take good care of my sister. She's stubborn so good luck" my brother said. I playfully hit his arm.

"I won't promise but I'll try" Hyungwon said, smiling.

"Thanks hyung, I'll leave you two alone now" my brother said. He smiled at my boyfriend before leaving.

"Oppa, try the cheesecake," I remarked proudly, knowing that it was my dad's secret recipe. While I wait for his thoughts, he took a bite of it. His pupils dilated and his eyes widened.

"It's so good!" he said. His words appear to be genuine. He continued to eat the cheesecake while I giggled at how adorable he was at the moment. I proceed to eat mine, not forgetting to glance at him once in a while. I was about to ask him if he wants to roam around and tour the house when suddenly a loud sound of raindrops is heard outside. Is it raining or what?

I glanced at the large sliding glass door near the living room. It was raining heavily outside and it was already dark. My mom and dad suddenly appeared on the living room.

"It's raining, do you guys have a car?" Mom asked us but his eyes are on Hyungwon.

"Ma'am we just took a public transportation to go here, I'm sorry" Hyungwon said.

"No No don't be sorry, it's fine but I don't think you can go home right away. You can spend the night here if you want." Mom said while clinging onto dad. I think Hyungwon is bothered by the thought of staying here so I talked to my mom.

"Mom, we can wait for the rain to stop, besides Hyungwon look-"

"It's fine, let's stay. I'm sure your parents will be worried if we leave despite the rain" he said. I gave him a smile.

"Okay, if you say so"

"You really look cute together. I'll go prepare the guest room. Yebin, accompany him" My mom said, still clinging into dad while dad have his arms on mom's waist. They both left while I sat back on the couch.

"Ugh the weather is really nice earlier, why did it suddenly rain?!" I whined.

"It's fine, we can't blame the rain. If you're worried about me then I assure you I'm fine. Your parents are really nice and this cheesecake is good so" he said as he shrugged his shoulder and proceed to eat.

"You're so cute"
