Chapter 28

Yebin POV

I woke up due to the pain in my lower abdomen. Ugh! I forgot that it's that time of the month! I don't think I can move, it' really painful! I grabbed my phone and texted Seonji.

Seonji👵

Yebin: SOS

Yebin: I'm in pain

Seonji: Does it hurt so much?

Yebin: YESSS
Yebin: I can't do anything

Seonji: okay wait for me

I went back to sleep to forgot about the pain.

Seonji's POV

"Seonji! darling, get dressed, we are going to visit your grandpa" my mom said when she entered my room.

"Why? What happened?"

"What do you mean 'what happened'? I told you yesterday that we are gonna visit him"

"Ohh okay" I went to change my clothes. I am about to go down when I remember that I'm suppose to go at Yebin. I forgot! What should I do! I don't have a choice! I went out of my room and looked for my mom.

"Mom! Can you give me a few minutes? I need to go to Yebin real quick, It's an emergency" I said,desperately.

"Okay,we'll wait for you"

"Thanks mom!" I said as I ran out of the house. I ask my driver to give me a ride to Yebin's apartment. My driver notice that I'm in a hurry so he drove fast and it didn't take a while for me to arrive infront of the apartment. I went to her designated floor and rang the intercom. No one is answering so I rang it many times. The door opened and I was welcomed by a tired looking Hyungwon seonbae.

"Who are you?" he asked as he rub his eyes, looks like he just woke up.

"Oh I'm Yebin's best friend. I have a favor... Seonbae can you take care of Yebin today? She's probably dying in her room right now but I can't help her. My family is going to visit grandpa today. I just stop by to ask for your help"

"What-"

"She's on her period. Please take care of her" I patted his shoulder and left. I didn't even let him speak because he might reject my favor. Yebin, you'll thank me later.

Hyungwon's POV

What...just happened? What did I got myself into? My brain is still malfunctioning but I manage to go to Yebin's room to check on her. I'm not that mean to just ignore her, especially now that she's unwell. I went inside and saw her curling up in her bed. She looks like a fetus. I went closer to her and shook her body to wake her up. She moved her body and it revealed the blood on her sheets. Oh god! What should I do?!

"H-hey Yebin...wake up"

"I'm awake" she murmured with her eyes closed.

"D-do you need anything?" I said as I rub the back of my neck.

"...pads...food" Food and what? I didn't hear the first one.

"...pads..." She held her stomach and groan in pain. Her friend is right, she looks like she's dying. It's my first time seeing her like this and it made me feel weak. I quickly ran out to the nearest convenience store to buy her a cup ramyeon and p-pads. It made me embarrassed but I ignored that and went home. I boiled water and put it in the cup ramyeon. This is the best thing I can do since I don't know how to cook. I went back into her room with the ramyeon and pads in my hands. I put it both in her lamp table.

"Here's your food and pads, I didn't know what to pick so I just got whatever" She sat on the bed slowly and looked at me.

"Thank you, seonbae" She grab the pads and excuse herself to go to the bathroom. She took quite awhile in the bathroom so I went to check on her. I knocked on the bathroom door.

"Hey are you okay?" I asked. It took a while before she answered.

"..yes..." she said in a weak voice.

"You don't sound okay" She opened the bathroom door and looked at me weakly.

"I'm okay, my friend will come later"

"She won't. She leave you to me. She said something about her grandpa and told me to look after you"

"Oh..." She looks so weak that can't even argue. I escorted her back to her bed. My feet hurt from standing so I sat on the bed beside her.

"Eat you ramyeon, it will get soggy" I handed her the ramyeon. She grabbed it and it almost spill so I snatched it on her and feed her like a baby. I thought she won't even know what instant ramyeon is but she is eating it well than I expected. She looked much better after she finished eating.

"It's delicious" she said.

"Tch you are making it seems like it's your first time eating an instant noodle."

"It is, I mean it's not my first time eating ramen but it's my first time eating the instant one" What? So it's true.

"So you just ate it without knowing what it is?"

"Yes, you are the one who gave it so..." Because I'm the one who gave it? What she said made me flustered.

"Yah,what if I put something on it?!"

"If you tell me that then it means you didn't. Assailants don't tell the victims about what they did and also I trust you. Even if you hate me that much I know you won't do something like that" She said with a smile.

"What if I did?"

"Then I guess I'll die" How can she say that so seriously? I shook my head in disbelief and left her room.

"Wait-" It hasn't been that long since I left her room and I already heard a shout. I hurriedly went to her room.

"What happened?" I asked. She look so shocked when she saw me. She hurriedly grabbed her pillows to cover her bed sheets. I guess she already saw the stains.

"N-nothing"

"It's fine, it's normal"

"You saw it?" She shyly asked while fiddling her fingers.

"Yes, since you where sleeping"

"Do I also have it on the back?" Back? Oh t-that. I just nodded instead of answering.
