As soon as I finished getting ready for my birthday, I went to my family's residence. We went out as a family for lunch, and my mother asked for my father let us, the women, to be separated from them for an hour to do girl stuff. We went shopping for clothes, bags, shoes, and whatever else my mother recommended. My mother paid for everything as a birthday present. She said she doesn't know what to give me so she just decided to spoil me for a day and let me buy whatever I want. I'm actually okay if she doesn't give me anything but who will reject this kind of birthday gift?
It's getting quite late so we went back home. My dad want to cook dinner for us. We ate dinner and after that, they surprised me with some cakes. My brother gave me a present, he gave me a fornasetti metafisica scented candle which I really love.
"Thank you, oppa!" I said as I give him a hug.
"I'm just doing this because it's your birthday" he said as he hugged me tighter.
"I know," I admitted, rolling my eyes. He is correct. He's being unusually nice today, and there are only two reasons for it: one, it's my birthday, and the other, he needs something from me. My brother is always nice, but not exactly nice.
"Okay, save that for later. Blow the candles for now" My dad said while cautiously holding the cake. He placed both cake in the table and light the candles. I blow the candles while they sing Happy Birthday.

It's getting late so I decided to go back home. My mom insisted for me to sleepover but I told her that I still have a few things to do. My mother gave up, but she insisted on accompanying me. Mr. Kim will take me home, so there is no reason for him to accompany me, but I received so many gifts that it will take me some time to get them to the apartment. Mr. Kim, my mother didn't want me to bring it alone, so she insisted on asking my brother. It took a lot of persuasion before my brother agreed to come along, and he complained a lot.
