Chapter 38

After Seonji urged me to confess "officially," I'm currently wandering back and forth in the kitchen, waiting for Hyungwon seonbae. I've already completed my morning routine and finished my meal, so the only thing left for me to do this morning before heading to university is confess. I'm not sure why I'm doing this so early in the morning, but it's best to get it out of the way sooner rather than later.

I was so absorbed in my thoughts when Hyungwon seonbae went out of his room.

"Stop walking back and forth" he said. I stop walking and look over at him.

"O-oh I didn't know you're already here, h-hi" I nervously said.

"What's your problem? Early in the morning, well I mean it's not my business, I'm just asking" He said this as he grabbed a carton of milk and shook it slightly in front of me as if to indicate that he was going to drink it. I made it clear to him that he could eat whatever he wanted from the refrigerator even if I didn't give him permission. I smiled and nodded, indicating that he could drink the milk.

"Uhm can I talk to you, seonbae?"

"Okay let me  just finish this" he said as he finish the milk.

 He looked at me with his arms crossed and asked. "What is it?"

Uhm how should I say this? Gosh Yebin! Didn't you practice last night?! Ugh it's okay, I can do this! 

I took a deep breath and started speaking.

"I... like you" I said while playing with my fingers due to nervousness.

"I know" he said.

"Will you go out with me?" I carefully asked, not breaking the eye contact even though I'm nervous as hell. He wasn't saying anything for a whole minute so I continue to speak.

"I mean, I don't think you need to think about this. It is clear that you don't like me. All you need to do is reject me clearly. I am actually rea-"

"Okay" he said, cutting me off. Okay? What 'okay'? I blinked multiple times, trying to understand what 'okay' means.

"What do you mean 'okay'? Okay I'm rejecting you or- ah wait, of course it's 'Okay I'm rejecting you', I mean it's impossible-"

"I said, okay, let's date" he said cutting me off again. I froze on my place, trying to process what he said.

Did he just said "Let's date"?! Wait- so does that mean WE'RE DATING?! Like really dating?!

"Is this real? Did I heard it wrong? Are we really dating now?" I asked, still not moving in place.

"What? You don't want to? Then forget it" he said, walking through the front door. I grabbed his hands, trying to stop him from leaving.

"I want to! Let's date!" He looked at me for a while before shifting his gaze to my hand that is holding his right now.

"Okay, can you now let go?" I immediately let go of his hands out of embarrassment.

"From now on you're my boyfriend~" I said, ending it with a wink.

I can't believe we're now dating!! Ahhh my heart! I'll try to be the best girlfriend!"
