Weeks have past and I still haven't given up talking to Hyungwon seonbae. I didn't know where I got my confidence but ever since last last week I keep bringing him food for breakfast. Sometimes I just buy in a cafe near the campus but mostly, I cook it myself. He rarely accepts it but if he did he'll always give it to his friends which they gladly accept all the time.
There is also no progress in our communication, he always keeps his answer short. He'll just answer yes or no, he doesn't even answer sometimes.
Just like the first few weeks, here I am waiting for him early in the morning, outside the classroom to give him his breakfast. I even drag Seonji with me so I'm not alone. After a whole ten minutes of waiting, he arrived looking handsome and chic as always. I approached him with a smile and hand him the sandwich that I made.
"Seonbaenim, Good morning~I made you breakfast~"I said with a hint of excitement in my voice. He grabs the food I gave.
"You ruined my morning" he muttered under his breath but enough for me and Seonji to hear.
"Excuse me? My best friend is being nice and made you breakfast. What?! She ruined your morning?" Seonji said with her arms crossed.
"Well did I ask her to make me breakfast?" asked Hyungwon who is looking at us, clearly annoyed. Seonji scoffed at him, she was about to say something but I stopped her. Hyungwon seonbae looked at me and said.
"Yah, Let's talk." I didn't know what he wants to talk about but I don't think it will end up well. I followed him quietly. We didn't go that far. He just stopped in front of an empty lecture room.
"What is it seonbae?" I asked.
"Can you stop doing this? I mean, can you stop bothering me? It's really annoying! Also, I don't see any reason for you to bring me breakfast every day" he said. I can see on his face that he's really annoyed. Am I really that annoying? His word really hurts but I don't plan to stop.
"I can't.."I said in a low voice.
"What?"
"I said I can't stop!-No, I don't wanna stop.." I looked at him and it looks like he's mad.
"You just made me hate you more" he said and walked away.
What have I done? He said he hates me. It hurts. Why does my heart hurt? I feel like it's crumbling.
I was about to cry but I stopped it. I don't want Seonji to see me cry, she'll get worried. I saw Seonji went beside me and held my shoulder.
"Are you okay? Let's go, we'll be late for class. Let's just talk about it later, okay?" She said. I just nod my head and went to class.
