These past few days have been wonderful. Hyungwon seonbae and I are now exchanging smile whenever we ran to each other at the hallway. I think we are now kinda like friends? I actually don't know because he's still won't talk to me unless I do it first and we haven't eaten a meal together at home. It's like he make sure that we are just friends and no other than that but for me, this is better than before.
Seonji and I are outside the university, waiting for her driver while I accompany her.
"By the way, Yebin-ah you're birthday is tomorrow right?What are your plans?" Seonji asked. Oh I forgot about it! School works made me forgot about it.
"I don't have a plan this year, we've got so many school works that I forgot about my birthday. I guess I'll just spend it with my family this year" There is nothing new to say. I always spend my birthdays with my family, except they always throw me fancy parties because I ask them to, but since I didn't organize anything, I guess we'll just dine at a good restaurant this year.
"Do you want anything for your birthday?" She asked, wiggling her eyebrows.
I pretend to think of something
"Uhmmm" I actually didn't want anything. I'm already thankful enough that she's a wonderful friend.
"Nothing, I'm okay with whatever you gave me" I said. She also pretended to think before speaking.
"Okay, I'll drop by the mall to get you whatever" I rolled my eyes at her.
"You're not suppose to tell me that"
"Tell you what?"
"Tell me that you are about to give me a gift! It's suppose to be a surprise" I said and she immediately gave me a weird look.
"It's not like you don't know that I give you gifts every single year"
"I know I'm just spouting nonsense AHHAHAHA" I said as I hit Seonji's shoulders out of embarrassment.
"By the way, does Hyungwon seonbae know that it's your birthday tomorrow?"
"Why do you ask?" I looked at her, curiosity filled in my eyes. She give me those teasing looks.
"Maybe he'll greet you? Why don't you ask him out on your birthday? Maybe he won't reject you since it's your birthday right?" she said as she teasingly hit my arm.
"That's a messed up thinking, Ji. I don't think I should do that. I'm gonna be happy enough if he ever greet me"
"Yeah now that I think about it, the things I said is really messed up"
