Chapter 47

"What are you talking about?" he asked. He's the one who said it, he must know.

"I heard you earlier at the cafeteria, you said you're just dating me so you can break up with me after. I heard it clearly so please don't lie to me anymore." I said, not dragging  Seonji into this even though she really is the one who heard it.

"Did you heard the whole conversation?" he asked, eyebrows raised.

"For what? For me to hear you say that you don't love me?!" I said, close to crying.

"So you didn't hear everything?" he asked.

"I don't need to" I said, acting mad but the truth is I can't even look at his eyes because I'm afraid that if I look into him then the tears that I've been holding back will fall.

"You won't act like this if you heard everything" he said.

"Please I'm not blind. I may be a little naive but I know how you treat me and that's not how you treat your partner. I'm tired, I'm tired of seeing how you treat me like nothing yet I can't do anything about it. I'm not dumb! but for you I acted like one. At first I tried to ignore the red flags because I don't wanna lose you but now I'm tired. I'm tired to hold on to this relationship after knowing that I'm the only one who's making effort...effort to make it work.." I said, unable to hold back the tears that I stock up. I cried, not wanting to hide my feelings. 

"Please! Just listen to me first!" he said. I look up to him while he look frustrated. I didn't say anything and let him talk.

Hyungwon's POV

"Hyung, tell me the truth? Why did you date Yebin? Did you really like her?" Jooheon asked. He look quite serious and I understand why since he now treat Yebin as a friend. Lying to him won't do anything good so might as well tell him the truth.

"Jooheon, I will tell you something but promise me you won't judge me."

"You know me hyung, I won't judge you"

"I know... Jooheon-ah actually... how do I say this... I actually dated Yebin to break up with her. I just thought maybe she'll stop if I actually dated her and break up with her after." I said, looking at the ground since I feel guilty.

"Hyung... I- you know you'll hurt her, right? That's not the right way!" Jooheon protested.

"I know! I feel really guilty because that's how it started. That was before! but I really like her now... I really do" I said.

"Hyung, are you sure?"

"I'm sure, I like Yebin and Yebin only" I confidently said, which is rare for me. This kind of talk with my friends is uncomfortable to me as I feel shy but I wanna let them know that I'm not uncomfortable to say that I like her.

"Ohhhh hyung~ Lover boy ayy~ but I thought I'm your only jagiya?" Jooheon asked, pouting.

"Sorry Joo, blame her from stealing me from you then" I said, smirking.

"That's our full conversation, only if you stay a little longer to listen to everything..." I saida after telling her the full conversation I had with Jooheon.

"B-but that doesn't change the fact that you dated me just so you can break up with me after.." Yebin said as she sniff.

"I know... I'm sorry but believe me I really do like you. I had that plan, yes, but as time goes by ,something in me wanted to give you a chance. I'm sorry I didn't give you a chance at first. I didn't try to get to know you first and I really regret it. I can really see that you care for me and stuff so I tried giving you a chance and look at me now, head over heels for you" I said, looking at her puffy eyes from all that crying.

"You don't show it though" she said. I chuckled at what she said.

"I'm sorry, it's my fault" I said. She stopped crying but she's still sniffing. I can't help but smile at how cute she looks.

"I want to rest" she said. I got back to my senses after she spoke.

"Of course, go rest. I'll be in my room if you need anything" I said, smiling.

"I mean I want a break from this relationship.. I don't know if it's really a relationship but I want a break."
