Chapter 24: The Date

Collin's pov

God. I just made a fool out of myself. We walked hand in hand to the pizza place.

We sat down at a booth and ordered pizza. She bounced her legs up and down very quickly. She had something bothering her and I want to help.

"Sam, whats wrong?" I asked her then she looks up. "I have to tell you something important." Then i get up and move from my side of the booth to hers.

"Okay go ahead."

"Do you remember that girl in New York you were talking to, that girl that you ended up kissing when the clock struck 12. Yeah that girl was this girl" she said pointing at herself.

Sam's pov

After i told Collin he looked at me and quickly leaned in. I was surprised that he didnt say anything, he just kissed me.

The little bell rang meaning our pizza was ready. We pulled apart and he said "Yeah that girl was you, I knew where you were going with this when you talked about New York City."

He smiled and got up to get our pizza. Thats the second time we kissed, but I felt guilt because there was Matty. I didn't like him as much as Collin. I guess I'm staying with Collin. That means I have to get Matty a girl. But who?

"I got the pizza!", Collin said. He looked at me and knew something was wrong. "Sam, whats wrong?"

I shook my head

"I'll tell you later but for now lets eat! I'm starving!" And we ate.

"Sam?"

"Yeah?"

"I have to ask you two things. One what were you thinking about when before I came with the pizza?", he asked nervously.

"I'm gonna be the honest person I am and tell you I was thinking about Matty. I mean since I'm with you, who will Matty be with? I'm gonna feel really bad and he's my friend so I don't know what to do.", I sighed.

Collin just stared at me and smiled. I just sat there sipping my drink waiting.

"Did you just say your with me?" He asked with a smile so big. I looked up and he raised both of his eyebrows.

"Yes Laker i did, but thats not the point Matty is!" Then again he sat there thinking while i drank my soda.

"I got it!", Collin said out of nowhere making me choke because I was startled.

"Damn it! Sorry Sam if I scared you."

"No its ok just next time don't yell.", I said, "So what were you gonna say before I started choking?"

"Oh that why don't we ask your friends to go out with Matty.", he said proudly. I chuckled.

"Collin, who was the first one of my friends that popped into your head?", I asked waiting for his answer.

"For some reason it was Annemarie. I don't know why but she did." I looked at him questiongly.

"Annemarie huh? I think it might work. I mean she hates you but not Matty and he is her type.", I said. Matty and Annemarie would look cute together but everything has to depend on how they feel about each other.

"Wait, she hates me but not Matty? I thought we were friends.", he pouted.

"Its ok but what if Annemarie doesn't like Matty or Matty doesn't like Annemarie? Then who will Matty be with?", I sighed. This is so frustrating.

"Maribel?"

"No, Jake likes her.", I said.

"Oh...ok so Ellie?"

"No she likes another guy.", I said.

"Alice?"

"Married to her xbox.", I sighed for what feels like the millionth time.

"Jocelyn?"

"Hmn...put her on the list. Who else?", I said.

"I can't think of anyone else. So its just Jocelyn or Annemarie.", he said.

"I feel like Matty is more of Annemarie's type but if it doesn't work out then theres Jocelyn.", I commented.

"This has been a wonderful date but it would be even more amazing if I get another kiss.", he said smiling. I smiled and leaned in to give him another kiss. After about a few seconds later we parted.

"Alright one more question. Will you be my girlfriend?"

"You have no idea how long I have been waiting for you to ask me that." And like that our lips collided, we sat there kissing and after a while we paid for our pizza and left hand in hand.

Now the only thing left to do is find Matty his girl. That would take some time.
