Sam's POV
I've had it with Collin. He's getting annoying with the 'I love you' or 'please be my girlfriend again'. I'm sick of it and I'm sick of him. I think I'm starting to not like him anymore.
"Sam are you okay. You've haven't said anything since i came." Dylan asked me.
I looked up at him and smiled. "Yeah" I was gonna say something when my phone vibrated. Collin?
I look down and see that its a text message from Maribel. I sighed.

Sam!! Guess what!
To Maribel
What? Wait are you and Jake a thing now!
From Maribel
What? I'll talk about that later but please.
To Maribel
Okay, what's up?

We are all going to a party tonight!
To Maribel
Im not sure. I have a lot to think about and I got stuff to do?

No you don't. Please! We could go together with squad. Plus there's gonna be drinks.

No! Your under age plus what are your parents gonna say

I told them Im gonna sleep over with you and they actually said yes. Plus only by a year and I don't care. Its not the first time. I got a fake id don't ask
I sighed. I look at Dylan and he looked at me concerned. "Party and Maribel wants me to go.", I said.
"I see. Do you want to go?"
"Actually I do. Wanna join?", I asked. "Sure when is it?"
"Hold on a sec."
To Maribel
When's the party? Oh and Dylan wants to come can he?
From Maribel
Yeah, you two could you know ;) oh and tonight.
To Maribel
Jesus Maribel we aren't even together.

Eww im done goodbye.
I turn and look at Dylan. He smiles and raises his eyebrow. He reminded me of Collin. Stop Sam your over him.
"Are we going?"
"Going where?" I cut him off. ''To the party"
"Oh yeah, your going to be my partner." He smiled.
"Partner meaning..." i get what hes doing. He wants me to call him my date. "Meaning, the person whos going with me."
"And that person is called..."
"My partner!" I said making him laugh. I smiled and looked at the tv. We were watching my favorite movie.
Of course The Fault In Our Stars. "Sam." I looked at him and said "yeah?"
"I love you." I looked down at my hands. "Dylan... i cant hear that right now." I whispered. "But Sam i love you, and im in no business of denying the simple pleasures of life."
He was quoting Augustus Waters. I smiled and looked at him. "Dylan i still love you too, but for now can we just be friends?" I asked him.
He looked down and nodded. "Ill wait for you Sam." I held his hand reassuringly.
