Sam's pov
"Sam its one or the other"
"Maribel i just cant" i said we were in the lunch line waiting for food.
"Sam its easy, look its either salad or pizza. One is better than the other" Alice said behind me.
I turned around and said "But what if it is pizza and nachos" then she thought and said "One is still better than the other"
We walked out and then sat down at our table. "Its either Collin or Matty" Annemarie said then Ellie put her finger up and said
"Oh i know just do pros and cons" then we all nodded. Before we could start Matty walked up to our table and said "Can we talk after school?"
I nodded and then he smiled and walked away. Our table went "Ooo" then i rolled my eyes.
"His accent tho" annemarie said. Then i nodded. I wonder what he wants to talk about at the end of the day.
The rest of the day went by fast probably because i was thinking about what Matty wanted to talk about.
I went to Mattys locker and waited for him. Collin stared at us but i ignored it.
"Ready?" Matty asked he smiling "yeah" i said.
"I wanted to ask you this since forever but do want to go for dinner in two days or?"
"Um I don't know. I'll tell you tomorrow after school. Ok?"
"Okay." That's when I realized something, we had a TFIOS moment. Then theres me going out with Matty. I don't know if I should do that. I like Matty but then theres Collin.
"Why is life so frustrating?" I mumbled.
"Are you okay Sam?"
"Yeah I'm fine."
"Alright I'll see you tomorrow." He hugged me and before he left he winked at me. Damn it. Why does he always make me blush.
"So how are the lovebirds?"
"I thought you already left to go home Ellie?"
"It was too far away plus I wanted to know whats going on with you and Matty."
"Nothing much. Just that he asked me to dinne-"
"He did what? I win!"
"Win? Win what?"
"I made a bet with Alice to see who would ask you out first. And I won."
"Really Ellie?"
"Yep now Alice owes me 5 bucks."
"You are stupid."
"But smart. Anyway got to go bye."
"Bye." After today I don't think I'll be able to sleep. Matty is gonna want my answer and I'm not sure how to answer. I'm gonna need help. Time to call Annemarie and see what I should do next.
