chapter 23: Believe it

Annemarie's pov

"What the actual fuck?" I yelled. Sam covered my mouth. "This cant be happening!"

"Why can't you just believe it" Sam said. "You and Collin going on a date, how can i believe that all of a sudden?!" I said.

"I know you hate him but if this actually works then-" she said trailing off.

" I don't really care though" i said then the bell rang and we got out of spanish.

Sam's pov

I sat in Social Studies. I think this is my favorite class for one reason and one reason only. Collin.

He sat down and smiled at me. I opened the fault in our stars and Collin said in a voice like he was crying "That movie was so sad, the way he died and left her" He started fake crying.

"You like The Fault In Our Stars? Your my best friend!" I said.

Collin frowned, "I just got friend zoned by my crush" he said slapping his for head.

"Oh Collin i didn't mean it like that, it was an accident!" I said hugging him.

He wrapped his hands around my waist. Then he smiled and put his head on my shoulder.

I tried pulling back but he held on me harder. "I like this." he said. Then i realized i did too.

"Yeah me too" i said. Then Matty walks in and looks at me disappointingly.

I pulled away but Collin still held on to me. I pulled his arms away but he looked at me worryingly and said "What's wrong."

"Matty was looking at us" i said putting my head down. He lifted my head with his finger and said "let him."

Then everyone came in and the class started.

Everyone in my group still didn't believe i was going somewhere with Collin.

I sat out side on the bench waiting for Collin when Matty sat next to me.

"John Green?" I closed my book and said "Yeah.." then he nodded.

"Are you going out with Collin?"

"What do you mean" i asked him.

"Are you and Collin a thing" he said.

"No...i don't know honestly" i said sighing. He got up and said "Ok" then he walked away. I frowned and wanted to follow him but something inside me pulled me back.

Collin came and said "You ready?" Then he raised his eyebrow. I playfully slapped his arm.

Then we started walking. "So how about we go to a pizza place for tonight?"

"A pizza place? Sure that sounds good I guess.", I said.

"I mean unless you want to go somewhere else. We can go somewhere else. Shit I knew the pizza place was a bad place. We can go to a restraunt. I'll make a reservation right now if you want. How 'bou-", he asked worryingly but I cut him off.

"Collin." I said grabbing his hand."How about we stick to the pizza place? Don't worry. This will be fun."

I said reassuringly.

He sighed and nodded. "Ok, im sorry i just want this to go perfect" then i looked at him and said "Calm down"

We smiled at each other and continued walking.
