Chapter 16: Dont be a Weenie

Maribel's pov

We were in gym, doing the tournament. Most of our team was out, it was just Matty and Collin. Its funny because its the two guys that are fighting for Sam.

Matty just scored a point so that makes them tied. All of a sudden the fire alarm goes off.

Annemaries pov

The fire alarm went off which means we get to miss the rest of gym! But it was cold outside. I got in line and I asked Maribel "Can I borrow your sweater"

Then she gave me a "you already know the answer" face. "I guess not" I said then I looked around and saw Sam.

"Sam! Can i borrow your sweater please?" I asked her then she said "I guess" then she gave it to me.

As soon as we walked out the air blew right in our faces. I felt bad for Sam and I was gonna give her back her sweater but Matty came.

"Hey guys, woah Sam aren't you cold?" He asked her but before she could say anything he took off his hoodie and put it on her.

"No Matty now your gonna be cold." Sam said but the Matty hugged her and said "Not anymore."

They are cute even though they aren't a couple. I smiled at the thought of Sam having Matty as a boyfriend. Then all of a sudden someone pulled me.

"What the fuck Collin!" I said then Collin looked at me seriously. "I need your help with something" he said.

"What?" I said crossing my arms. "Sam. Does she like Matty?"

"Why do you care?" I asked him avoiding the question.

"I have sorta ... just a little crush on her" he said mubling the last part. "No. Fucking. Way" I said slapping his arm.

"Ow" he said then I looked at him.

"Well first you have to grow some balls and go talk to her. Matty did and he is way closer than you are with her." I said then Matty looked over at Sam.

"I like her gray hoodie" he said then I walked away and turned around and said "Its Matty's. Don't be a weenie!"

Collin's pov

What Annemarie said hurt but it was true. I do have to talk to Sam. I cant lose her to Matty but it looks like I already did.

When she told me Sam was wearing Matty's hoodie I was furious and jealous. Sam can not be wearing his hoodie! Thats a couple thing. And I'm pretty sure they are not a couple.

I looked over at them and Matty was hugging her. His arms were wrapped around her waist and his head was on her shoulder.

But to make it even worse Sams hands were on top of Matty's that is a classic couple pose.

I have to talk to them. I walk up to them. Sam saw me then immediately left Matty's arm. Matty looked upset and wondered what was the matter but then he saw me.

"Hey Collin what's up."

"Sam I want to talk to you."

"Ok sure I'll be back Matty I guess." Matty just smiled and walked away.

"Ok what do you want to talk about."

"I've been wanting to ask you something..."

"Yeah..."

"Um..."

"Um what?"

"That... do you wan-...have you seen my sweater!" Idiot you have your sweater on. Dammit!

"You have it on?"

"Oh right. Uh thanks I guess I will be on my way now."

"Okay bye I guess?"

Really Collin, Wheres my sweater? Its on you idiot.

"Really Collin? Where's your sweater?" Annemarie said.

"I know, you dont have to make fun of me." Then she shook her head and walked away.

I looked stupid in front of Sam and Matty. I saw Jake with a book so I took it and stated banging my head on it. "Dude, are you ok?"

"Yes I'm just an idiot."

"Don't be so hard on yourself man."

"How when life is a living hell?!"

"You seriously need either help or a girlfriend." I looked at him and clenched my jaw. "Not helping you know." And I walked away. But Jake is right I need help. I need advice from a girl to get a girl. I need Gemma's help again. Even if it makes things worse, I can always fix things up.
