4 months later

Sam's POV

Christmas was yesterday and I was happy. My birthday was two weeks ago so double the presents and happiness.

Time went by fast. Although it seems like forever since Collin is always staring at me but we started talking more often ever since our assigned seats were changed so our desks are next to each others in Social Studies. And then theres Maribel and her new gym buddy which got Jake really pissed off when I told him.

I looked at my clock. 12:57am. Damn do I think that much I better go asleep.

I wake up gasping for air. Shit that dream was crazy. What time is it? 9:46am. At least I got more sleep. I yawned, put on my fuzzy slippers to see my dog sleeping in front of the door.

" Humphrey move out the way." I groaned and picked him up. I opened the door to see Jake.

"Its only been two days since Christmas yet you are already unhappy?"

"Shut up Jake." I said not in the mood.

"Fine. Oh and you got a notification on Instagram and a text message from Maribel."

"You...why do I bother?"

"Is everything okay with Maribel?"

"I dunno. But maybe if you get out my room and let me check my phone I will tell you." Like that I shut my door and checked instagram.

Well Maribel tagged me in a photo about relationships. This time its about TFIOS! She knows I love the moive and book so thats probably why she tagged me on it. I checked the text message.

"Oh my god!",I yelled. Thats when Jake came barging in. "What what happend?!"

"I don't think I should tell you."

"Come on tell me...wait does Maribel like me?! Yes!!"

"Sorry dude no, its something else."

"Then tell me!"

"No! You are going to be upset." Thats when he did his puppy dog face. "Fine but don't say I didn't warn you." I sighed,"She has a boyfriend."

Jake's face fell. "Who is it?", he demanded instead of a question. "Who the hell is it?!"

"Alex."
