chapter 13: Double Trouble

Sam's pov

I walked into class to see most of the kids surrounding two desks. Wait the twins were here today!

I walk into the crowd to find Ellie, Alice and Maribel standing in the front. "Guys calm down they are not zoo animals" i said knowing no one would hear me.

I hear someone laugh and i then the new kid walks up to me. "Matty." He said in sort of a british accent.

"Sam" i say. Then he smiles at me. Then Collin pulls Matty away and says "I have to tell you something."

Then Matty says "Ok tell me" then Collin stands there. "Hi" Collin says. Matty says "Hello" with his accent.

Then Matty walks up to me again but ends up getting pulled away by the teacher.

"Ok class as you can tell we have two new students, Matty and Gemma"

"Hello" they both said in unison and waved.

Then Matty looked over at me and smiled. I looked down and also smiled.

Out of the corner of my eye i see Collin frown and look away. "What was that about?" Alice asked then i shrugged my shoulders.

This is gonna be a long day.

Collins pov

What the heck is going on here. The plan was to get Sam. Not to almost get Sam but lose her to a british kid.

I have to become friends with Matty and Gemma. Matty to see if he likes Sam and Gemma to get Sam jealous. Its sounds bad but i need to do it to see if she has any feelings for me.

I walk up to Gemma and say hi. "Hello." She said in her accent." I need you to help me."

"Okay with what?"

"You see that girl over there"  i said pointing to Sam. "Yeah the one Matty has a crush on." she said.

"Yeah that gir- WAIT WHAT!" I said a bit too loud. "Oh dang I can never keep a secret?" She said looking down.

Matty likes Sam. It played over and over in my head. I'm close to get her to like me and I'm loosing her to a british guy and she may like him back.

"Listen Gemma, I need your help. Listen lets talk, I have a crush Sam for a really,really long time and I'm close to see if she likes me but I need you to help me to get her to like me back. Not your brother."

Gemma just stared at me blankly. Maybe this was a bad idea. "I'll help."

My eyes grew wide."Really?!"

"Yeah, like you said you are close to getting her but my brother got in the way. I love my brother but it sounds like to me that you really like this girl."

"Thanks you are the best." I hugged her with Sam watching me.

Sam's POV

He hugged her. Her. Gemma, the new girl who he just only met. I felt hurt. Get it through your head Sam he doesn't like you! But a part of me says he does.

"Are you okay" I turn to see Matty. "Yeah I'm fine."

"You don't look like it."

"I'm just tired you know with school and stuff."

"Okay but don't stress yourself thats bad you know."

"I know." I turn to looking at Collin and Gemma talking. "They are getting along pretty well. My sister and that kid." I didn't like him saying 'that kid', it was rude. "That kid just happen to be my friend and his name is Collin." I said with gritted teeth.

"Oh sorry if I irritated you." That accent makes me want to not be mad. "Its okay."

***RING***

"Well got to go."

"Alright bye."

I saw Collin walking in the hallway with Gemma. That is the reason why I'm hurting. This is gonna be a long dreadful year.

Time for happy mode. Just forget about everything thats bothering you. Alright I'm in a good mood now.
