Chapter 38: Will you be my girlfriend again?

Collin's POV

I guess me and Sam are in good terms now. Although I haven't officially asked her to be my girlfriend, again. So this time I'm gonna make it special and hopefully she'll say yes, again.

I've might have had some help from her friends but either way, I hope it turns out good. Right now I'm in Sam's backyard, yeah its cliché but its Augustus worthy. I took out my phone and texted her.

To Sam
Hi.

From Sam
Hey. What's up

To Sam
Nothing much. Are you at home?

From Sam
Yeah why? Wait...

Before i responded, she was already at her window.  "Collin?" She opened her door and walked out. "What are you doing?" She asked smiling. "Well I'm here to have a nice picnic with you."

Sam smiled and walked over to the red and white checkered blanket. She sat down with her legs crossed. "So what are we eating chef?" Sam asked.

"We are eating sandwiches and drinking orange juice." I said opening the straw basket. "Wow, you even cut the crust off!" She said.

"Yeah, i know you hate the crust." I said smiling and handing her a sandwiches. She took a bite out of it while looking at the tree.

"So I bet your probably thinking, why am I eating a bad sandwich and drinking orange juice with Collin all of a sudden." I told her.

"It has crossed my mind." She said laughing. "Well as i was laying on my bed thinking about you like any other day I realized that i never got to ask you out formally."

She shook her head while smiling. I stood up and held out my hand. "So, Samantha Anderson will you do me the honor of being my girlfriend, again."

She took my hand and stood up. "Yes" then she leaned in and kissed me. We kissed,for a while... until Jake came to mess it up. "Alright lovebirds we have to go and find jobs."

He yelled then he closed the window. Sam smiled and held my hand. We walked inside and she got ready while I awkwardly sat down on the couch.

After everyone was ready we got in the car and I moved Sam over to my lap. When we got there every couple set off in different directions.

Annemarie didn't come because she got sick so Matty stayed at her house to take care of her. Everyone else is here.

Sam and I had no clue what we were gonna do. I was getting texts from everyone in the morning saying they found their jobs already.

Ill give you the run down.

Sam and I= undetermined?

Jocelyn= Sephora

Ellie and Kyle= Barnes and nobles

Maribel and Jake= Laser tag place

Alice and Niall= Game stop

Matty= Hot topic

Matty came yesterday to find his job, he found one and was happy to find out it was one of his Annemarie's favorite stores.

Right now we are discussing about the plan.

"So Annemarie's birthday is coming up and we all know, except Annemarie, that we are going to warp tour. So has anyone of us saved any money so far?" Sam asked.

"I got $10 right now." Ellie said.

"I got a five." Jocelyn said.

"Ok. Anybody else," Sam said waiting for an answer "I guess not. So every time we get money, we put it in this box" she said while taking the box. Jocelyn and Ellie put the money in the box.

After that everyone headed home except Sam and I because we still need jobs. "I want to work somewhere with kids." Sam said.

"Okay, the only places that come to mind are the arcade and build a bear." I said holding her hand. 

"Lets go check out build a bear"Sam says leading me to the store but i stop her.

"Babe, can we work in the arcade?" I asked her raising my eyebrow.

She cant stand my eyebrow raise. She will give in. "Why?" Damit. "Well, I don't want to be seen working at build a bear. It would ruin my reputation?"

She frowned. Shit, I am going to get slapped. "Why, so Collin doesn't ruin his dick reputation. No one cares Collin, your not popular! You don't have anyone but us! But you cant get a job, to do something nice for Annemarie? You know what? You can go get a job at the arcade to keep you dick reputation!"

She stormed off and walked into build a bear. Shit shit shit. Shit!

Sam's pov

I walk into build a bear and see Dylan. He smiles and walks up to me. "Hey." He said shaking his build a bear.

"Hi." I said smiling. "What's with the bear?" I said looking at the brown bear in his hand.  "Its my little sisters birthday, she loves these things." He said smiling.

"Sam?" He said looking up. "Yeah." I said nervously. "I don't now if your with Collin, or if that was a one night stand kind of thing but do you want to go out?"

Dylan hurt me way less than Collin. But i don't love him like i love Collin.  "Im sorry, believe me, I love you. But not in that way." I said tearing up. Then he hugs me.

I hug him back. Instead of making me feel bad or walking away he hugs me. "I love you Dylan."

"I love you too Sam. I know what you mean though."

After that we parted ways. I walked to my car and saw someone standing in front of it. It was Collin. "I will seriously run you over, no joke." I said taking my keys out.

He turns around and i see he has a yellow apron on. Hes holding a bear in the other hand. "I got it." He says simply. I smile and laugh.

"You where right you do really look stupid." I say laughing. "I know." He says walking up to me. He hugs me and says " I get the iron on after the first week."

"I still have to apply." I say frowning. "If i got the job you can easily get it. Oh and her you go." He says passing me the bear.

"Its name is Sollin."

"That's cheesy on so many levels babe." I say looking down at it. "I know."

"I love it  though." We get in the car as he starts driving to my house.

I look down at the bear. "Sollin." I whisper. "What?" Collin asks. "Nothing, i didn't say anything." I say quickly.

Collin raises his eyebrow. "What ever you say."

"Im sorry i said those things" i said.

"Its okay I really was being a dick."

"I love you" I say holding his hand. "I love you too" he says stopping at a red light. He takes this time to lean over and kiss me. Sollin goes around and around.
