Chapter 31: Nice to see you again.

Sam's Pov

I wake up to the sound of my alarm clock going off. "Uhh." I groan then sit up. I look down and see the mint cast on my leg.

I groan again and lay back down. Then I hear my door slowly open. I look up to see Collin with a smile on his face.

"Ew, Collin get out i look gross!" I say throwing a pillow at him. It hits him right in the face and he just stands there.

"Well first off good morning and second im not leaving because im here to assist you. Plus there's school."

I groan and he laughs. He walks over to my bed and sits down. "Come on.." he says slowly pulling the covers away. "No."

I say pulling them back up. He quickly pulls them back away and picks me up and throws me over his shoulder. "Rape! I have a broken leg!" I yell as he laughs.

"Shh people are actually gonna think im doing something." He says taking my to my closet. "Ok what are you going to wear?"

I look at my closet carefully. "1975 shirt, long sweater, skinny jeans and combat boots." I say as he runs around my room getting everything i said.

I watch him and laugh as he stops to check if he has everything. "Here you go." He says as he shoves the pile towards me.

"Gracias." I say as he leans down to kiss me. "Welcome?" He says then i quickly kiss him then motion for him to get out.

I get my shirt and sweater on but then realize something. "How am i going to get the jeans on?" "Collin!" I yell then after a minute i see my door open slowly.

He pokes his head in with his eyes covered. "Yes." "You can look at me." I say then he takes his hand away. "How im i suppose to put these on?" I said holding up my jeans.

Collin took off my cast and i could see my foot. "We are gonna cheat for a quick second" he said smiling. I nodded and again motioned for him to leave.

I rolled up my sweats and saw my leg. It looked horrible but i just put on my jeans carefully. After i finished i put on my cast and my combat boot on the other foot.

I scooted over and got my casts. "Woah there." Collin said picking me up and taking my casts. "Uhh Collin!" I whined.

The whole time he has been taking care of me he has been doing this. I know my legs broken but im not a baby!

We ate breakfast and left for school. Once we got there i felt everyone look straight at me. Collin kept walking with out backpacks.

I kept going and sat down at my seat as he slowly placed my backpack next to me and smiled. As soon as i was settled in everyone gathered around my desk to ask questions.

"Give her space!" Collin yelled and everyone backed away. "I just broke my leg. Okay?" I said then the crowed started to leave.

Jake and the rest of the group started walking up to me. "Now this group i don't mind." I said then they all smiled.

"Good to have you back" Matty said. He had his hand wrapped around Annemarie's shoulder. I also noticed that Jake and Maribel were pretty close.

"Thanks. Im happy to see you guys again." I said. Then they smiled. "So guys word is we are getting a new student!" Maribel said excitedly.

"Great another Matty." I said jokingly. Matty rolled his eyes playfully. "Alright class get in your seats!" Our ELA teacher yelled.

Everyone sat down and waited for the class to start. Just as our teacher was about to say something the new kid walked in.

"You must be the new student" our teacher said happily. "Yep." The boy said. I don't look up to see who it is i just keep doodling.

I looked around the room,there were three seats empty. Two at the last row and one next to me. But to my luck me takes the one next to me.

Great now i have to meet the kid. I look to my left and i am surprised. "Dylan?" I ask and the boy looks up at me. "Sam!"

"Do you guys know each other?" Collin asks protectively. "Yeah" i say.  "Shit." Annemarie,Alice,Maribel and Ellie all say in unison. Great another bump in the road.
