Chapter VIII

Y/n pov

Toothless flew faster over and pass rocks. He relaxed and was smoothly soaring through the sky, it's so peaceful. The orange sky made it even more amazing. Hiccup turned around and smiles at me,
"Is it everything you ever dreamed of?" He asks.
"It's even better than my dream!" I yell happily.
"Ready to see how fast Toothless can go?" Hiccup giggles.
I nodded my head and held on even more tighter,

All of a sudden Toothless zooms even faster going up and up and up more! Then he started to glide again softly, I looked around Berk so tiny from here. Then I used one arm to touch a cloud, I was smiling so big then I looked at Hiccup who was staring at me with pink cheeks and a dorky smile. The clouds felt so soft I used both my hands to touch them all around us. I suddenly blushed and wrapped my arms around him again, he was still looking at me giving me that smile. At this very second I felt something more powerful than feelings. I wanted to squeal and throw up at the same time, this feeling is more than my old crush on Hiccup when I was ten. This is love.
I saw Toothless look back at us and he gave me a smile, he's so adorable.
Then Toothless started to fall down carelessly,
I held on to Hiccup like my life depended on it.
"Now!" Hiccup yells then Toothless puts his wings out to stop us from falling into the water, he flew gracefully above the water at an angle. I leaned over with one arm holding onto hiccup, and touched the water. There was pressure because of how fast Toothless was flying. When I came back up instead of wrapping my arms around him I hugged him, and I closed my eyes resting my head on his back,
"Thank you for making my dream come true." I say softly.
I looked up and Hiccup was blushing,
"Anything for you Y/n." He smiles.

Butterflies filled my stomach, then Hiccup guided Toothless to land on the beach. When he did Hiccup got down first, I was about to do the same then Hiccup holds his arm up to help me down,
"Princess L/n." He says in a funny voice.
"I told you not to call me that!" I laugh about to grab his hand but his hands went to my waist grabbing me and placing me down to the sand.
"I know I just wanted to make you laugh." He smirks.
I playfully punched his shoulder then turned to Toothless,
"Thank you so much for the ride." I smile.
Toothless smiled and used his wings to pick me up and hug me,
"What did you think?" Hiccup giggles.
"It was amazing!" I yell.
"I could tell you we're having a blast." He laughs.
"Yeah I was, and it's all because of you." I blush.
Hiccup rubbed his neck and blushed too,
"Remember this beach?" He asks as we started walking down the shore.
"Of course, it was summer and we came together." I smile.
"And those kids were making fun of you." Hiccup says.
"But when you showed up you yelled at them, and you dried my tears with your shirt." I giggled.
"Then I did everything I could to cheer you up." Hiccup smiles.
"You always cheered me up." I say.
"Well I hated when you were sad." He says looking up at me.
Toothless stretched then started walking down along the beach, so we followed behind him,
"I have an idea!" Hiccup says pointing to his head.
"What?" I giggle, he's so goofy.
"I should have thought of this sooner, Y/n do you want to learn how to fly a dragon?" He asks.
"Yes! Yes! Yes!" I yell excited.
Hiccup laughed at me,
"Tomorrow I'll take you to the dragon training center, you can meet my friends." Hiccup says.
"Yes! Thank you so much!" I yelled again and got a little too excited. I ran to him and jumped on his hugging him around his neck. He laughed and slid his hands around my waist hugging me back. I realized what I had done and blushed crazy, but he held me tightly back too. Being in his grip makes me want to stay like this forever. Toothless saw us hugging and jumped on us, he hugged us squishing us closer together. Hiccup's cheek rubbed on mine and we both laughed as Toothless held us.

"Toothless!" Hiccup laughs.

Hiccup's pov

When I hug Y/n, I feel this energy. I never want to let go, she makes me smile. She accepts me for who I am, I can be myself around her without having to hide anything. Y/n tells me she's proud of me, she's always been my crush. But now that we're older my emotions towards her turned genuine and stronger. It's not a crush anymore, it's love. In my arms she is safe, it's where I want her to be forever. She has the ability to make me zone out and forget about my problems. If today is a dream I never want to wake up, I've imagined her coming back to Berk a million times in my head. None of them compare to the real feeling of her actually being here where I can touch her.

Y/n pov

Toothless let us go, coming here was the best decision I could have made. We continued walking and Toothless looked at Hiccup, he raised his eyebrows twice.
"Toothless I know what your thinking, don't." Hiccup says.
Curiously I watched to see what Hiccup was worried about him doing, then Toothless pushed Hiccup to me and we fell down on the sand. When I opened my eyes Hiccup's handsome face was so close to mine. One of his hands were interlocked with mine, his whole body weight would be on me if his hands didn't catch the fall. For a second I blushed hard, he's on top of me, no space between our bodies. Then I saw Hiccup blushing too, and he quickly got off me.

"You stubborn dragon." Hiccup giggles laying next to me in the sand,
I laughed and Hiccup stood up, then helped me up grabbing my hands.
"Sorry he was just being playful." Hiccup smiles.
"No need to apologize." I smile.
"Well the sun is almost down, we should head back to the village." Hiccup says.
"Great." I say.
"Sha'll we ma'am." Hiccup says in a silly voice putting his hand out again to help me on toothless,
"Your silly." I laugh as he helps me up Toothless,
He giggles and pulls me up again, then we took off into the sky again. As we got closer to the village the moonlight shined on us,
"I'm assuming you don't have a hut to stay in." Hiccup says.
"Your assumption is correct." I chuckle.
"Well, my hut is available. If you wish to stay with me till you find your own hut." Hiccup smiles.
"Aw thank you Hiccup!" I say squeezing him.
"Anytime Y/n." He says landing in front of his hut.
