Chapter XI

Y/n pov

I followed behind them to this area where they're dragons we're free to fly. There is a huge obstacle course too,
Also a huge opening to the ocean so you could fly out for a ride,
They all called there dragons over and they all came individually to there owner, Astrid left for a second to go talk to Gobber,
"Wow you guys have amazing dragons." I smile.
"Thanks." Fishlegs says.
"Thank you cutie." Snotlout says.
"Can you stop flirting lame ass." Ruffnut rolls her eyes.
"Yeah dude seriously stop." Hiccup says seriously standing next to me,
"Well I mean damn look at her." He chuckles.
Toothless came to Hiccup and jumped between us,
I stood there uncomfortable because Snotlout got closer to me,
"Your sexy." He whispers in my ear, I felt chills go down my spine.
"Ur a weirdo." Tuffnut says.
Then Snotlout came behind me and I felt his hands wrap around my waist, then his body pressed on my behind. My heart beat started to speed up, Hans did this to me when he had sexual intentions. I grew up with no romantic relationships at all besides a huge crush on Hiccup- till I had to marry Hans, because of that I get nervous and let it happen to me like I'm weak. Hans treated me like I was his object, is this how all men are?
"What the fuck get off her!" Hiccup say pushing Snotlout off me.
"You can't just touch her like that asshole! Get the hell out of here!" Hiccup almost yells.
Snotlout chuckled,
"Whatever." He says hopping onto his dragon then flying away through the exit.
Hiccup immediately grabbed my face with his hands,
"Are you okay? Did he hurt you?" Hiccup asks looking around my face.
"Hiccup I'm okay, you dont have to defend me, but thank you." I say giving him a soft smile and taking his hands off my face.
"That was seriously fucked up." Fishlegs says.
"The dude is just horny." Tuffnut scoffs.
"He's a jerk, just don't worry about him." Ruffnut smiled at me.
"Thanks." I softly smiled.
Hiccup sighed, I could tell he is still mad.
"Hey where did Snotlout go?" Astrid asks coming back with her dragon.
Ruffnut whispered something to Astrid, great now she knows.

Hiccup's pov

Snotlout has always been a disrespectful guy towards girls, I wasnt going to let Y/n be one of his chicks so I put him in his place. He told me the other day he had feelings for Ruffnut, it makes no sense suddenly to change everything for a new girl. One day he's in love with one girl the next he's hitting on another, which is definitely not going to be my best friend. It was an instinct to protect her, I've always have since we we're kids. She seemed really nervous and confused on what to do too, it concerns me maybe she won't be able to protect herself when im not there. But why am I so mad for what Snotlout did?

Astrid's pov

Seriously do all guys fall for Y/n! Why does she get all the attention! I'm so much better than her, I could treat Hiccup right but he won't even give me a chance. I know he likes her but he has no choice but to marry me. Snotlout has flirted with every girl except me, why? I think I'm prettier than Y/n, but I guess my opinion on myself doesn't match with others. I just want to yell at the top of my lungs to get the rage out my system.

Y/n pov

"Let's just fly dragons, I'm excited to learn." I say.
"Well then let's get started." Tuffnut smiles.
"See you in the sky Y/n." Fishlegs says.
"The most important part is to not fall." Ruffnut jokes.
"I'll do my best." I giggle.
They left on their dragons to do there own thing, but Astrid walked away frustrated, and Hiccup stayed with me.
"You should ride Toothless, he loves you." Hiccup smiles.
"Okay here get on him." Hiccup says helping me up Toothless.
"First thing you want to do is make sure the harness is on right." He says checking the harness for me.
"Hiccup can I talk to you for a second." Astrid says.
Hiccup stood up,
"Um sure I guess." He sighs.
Astrid walked away again,
"I'll be right back dont move." He smiles.
"Okay hurry." I smiled.
Toothless started to run around in the obstacle course, it made the waiting fun. I do wonder what they are talking about, I'm not worried though.

Hiccup's pov

I walked over to where Astrid was standing and I turned around to make sure Y/n was okay alone with Toothless. But they were messing around bonding, she was laughing. I smiled then faced back to Astrid, my smile faded,
"What is it Astrid." I ask.
"Are you really going to let Y/n fly by herself?" She asks with her arms crossed.
"Yeah why not? That's how I learned." I say.
"Look at her she has no clue what she's doing." She sighs.
"What do you mean?" I ask looking at her,
Y/n was playing with Toothless,
"She's perfectly fine." I roll my eyes.
"She knows nothing about dragons, and is unprepared to fly." She says with a rude tone.
"Your overreacting." I sighed annoyed.
Y/n is a fast learner, I wouldn't be surprised if she got it the first time.
Before Astrid could respond Y/n came with Toothless,
"Sorry to interup but Toothless harness fell off." I say handing it to Hiccup,
"That's okay, here I'll fix it, thats why you always have to check it first." I say tying it back on.

Y/n pov

I watched Hiccup tie the harness on Toothless so I could do it next time, but I felt eyes on me. I looked at Astrid who was glaring at me pissed off,
"Something wrong?" I ask.
"Y/n you are unknowledgeable of dragons and have no clue how to even fly one." Astrid says with attitude,
I saw Hiccup about to say something but I gave him a gesture to not and I winked,
"Dragons have the ability to fly up to five hundred miles per hour making it one thousand two hundred miles. There fire is triple the heat from a regular camp fire." I say confidently.
"How fast can Toothless fly?" She asks.
"Night fury's can fly up to four hundred forty eight miles per hour." I smirk.
She look stunned, and more pissed.
"Woah how do you know so much about dragons?" Hiccup asks.
"Well when I finished my private studies at age sixteen I had a lot of free time and a wide variety of dragon books in my large library." I chuckled.
"Seems like Y/n does have the proper education." Hiccup smiles.
"Ugh I doubt you could even take off the ground." She groans with anger.
"Oh yeah, watch me." I winked.

They stood there watching me as I checked the harness then I got onto Toothless all by myself,
"Wait you have to-" I clipped this hook onto my suit that was connected to the harness incase I somehow slip.
"I got it." I giggle.
Hiccup smiled at me and mouthed,
Good luck
I gave him a smile,
Toothless turned ready to take off.
