Chapter XX

Y/n pov

After eating with Asher, we flew our dragons together again. I like Asher, but I see him as a friend. Hiccup is still a part of me in ways that are more than friends. I can't control it. Two weeks went by very quickly though, Asher and I have been hanging out every second. I've gotten way better at flying Luna. I got some tricks, Luna and I had to work together to use her power. We tend to train most of the time, I didnt know why I was. But im starting to feel I train because I wish to be able to defend myself in case Hans ever finds me. Sometimes I wonder about Pameaburg, I get scared about how they all must feel. I hope they stopped looking for me by now. I got over myself and talked to Hiccup, we've hanged out a lot of times. We love to fly our dragons together, he helped me also learn more about Luna and her powers. But today Asher and I were flying our dragons, we were above the ocean and I decided to try something new. Hiccup uses his glide suit to fly with Toothless, I wanted to give it a shot. So I put on my glide suit he gave me a while ago. He told me I first need to teach Luna to catch me if I ever do fall, eh I'll just land in the water. No big deal if I slip.

I stood up on Luna's back while she kept flying,
"Your insane." Asher giggles.
"Wooo!" I yell.
Asher laughed,
"Your so crazy, God I love you." He says.
I looked at him,
"Wait what?!" I ask.
"Y/n I love you!" He yells.
"I-" Before I could say anything I slipped and fell off Luna's back,
"Y/n!" Asher yells.
I squeezed my eyes, ready for land.
Right before I landed in the ocean Hiccup and Toothless caught me,
I opened my eyes, his face was very close to mine,
"Well well, if it isn't the stubbornness person I know." He smiles.
"Oh thank God." I say hugging him,
"I told you before gliding you need to train Luna first, now you know its not safe standing on a dragon." He giggles hugging me back.
"I'm lucky you were there." I smile.
"I had a strong feeling you wouldn't listen to me." He says.
"You know me." I sigh.
Then Asher on Fang, and Luna came down to us,
"Are you okay Y/n?" Asher asks.
"Im good Asher." I say.
"Good, thanks for catching my girlfriend man." Asher says.
"No problem." Hiccup says giving Asher some type of glare.
Luna came closer so I could hop back onto her,
"Want to go get Meal at the market later?" Hiccup whispers in my ear.
I smiled and nodded my head,
He gave me a that goofy smile,
And before I blushed I jumped back onto Luna.
"Such a risk taker." He laughs.
"Uhm yeah she's great, ready to head back to my hut?" Asher says flying in between us.
"Yeah, just for a bit." I say.
"Great lets go." Asher says flying away.
"Bye Hiccup, see you in a bit." I smile.
"Bye Y/n." He says flying the opposite direction of me.

When we got to Asher's hut all he wanted to do was kiss, so I let him. I mean he did tell me he loves me today, I was really about to lie and say I love you too. Foolish of me. But after kissing he held me gently, we were cuddling. I tried to get up from the bed but he kept pulling me back. Hans would do this when I tried to run, it made me feel anxious.
"Asher I have to go." I say.
"Ugh why can't you stay forever." He whines.
"I have to go." I giggle.
"Where?" He asks.
"Hiccup and I are hanging out again." I say.
"Oh, okay." He instantly let me go,
Weird.
I said bye and walked to the market, we met up in front of where they sell Meal. We bought some and walked to our secret spot under the waterfall.
We talked and drank our Meal,
"You do or don't still drool?" I joke.
"Shut up." He laughs.
I laughed too,
"So you and Asher- how's that?" He asks shyly.
"Uhm we're fine I suppose, how about you- and Astrid?" I ask shyly as well.
"We're fine too I guess." He sighs.
There was a moment of silence and he grabbed his sketchbook from his pocket,
Thats when I see his bandage around his wrist. Thats where I saw the cut, he's hiding it.
"What happened there?" I ask gently grabbing his wrist and looking at the bandage,
"Oh nothing, can I draw you?" He asks taking his hand back.
"Of course." I smile.
He lied to me, but I can't be pushy.
Hiccup drew me next to the waterfall,
When he finished he handed it to me,
"Its amazing Hiccup, as usual." I smile.
"Its only amazing because its you." He says shyly.
I looked up at him blushing,
"Oh, but your the talented one." I blush.
"I guess we just make a great team." He smiles.
I handed the drawing back and he stuck it onto the wall,
Hiccup wrapped his arm around me and smiled, we looked at all his drawings.
"They're beautiful." I smile.
"Your beautiful." He says.
My eyes got wide,
What is he doing?
"Do you really mean that?" I ask.
But then there was splash in the water,
It distracted us. Probably some kids playing in the lake.
We brushed it off then walked back to the village, Hiccup decided to walk me home. But I couldn't get it out my mind, a guy has never flirted with me till I met Asher. I guess its all just new to me since I grew up isolated in a castle. With Asher I felt nothing, just shy and confused. But when Hiccup did it I felt happy this tingly feeling everywhere. Ugh what is it?!

But then Hiccup and I were standing in front of Heather's hut,
"Thanks for hanging out with me today." He smiles.
"Well duh your my best friend, I love spending time with you." I giggle.
Hiccup laughed then hugged me tightly,
This time he wrapped his hands around my waist, he's never hugged me like this before.
"Yes I did mean what I said, your beautiful." He whispers in my ear.
Then he let go and gave me a kiss on my cheek,
I blushed again and felt this weird feeling in my stomach,
"Bye Y/n." Hiccup says smiling backing up,
"Bye Hiccup." I blush.
I went inside and threw myself on my bed, I want to scream and cry from happiness at the same time! Hm Heathers not here to witness my freaking out moment. But then someone knocked on the hut door. I got up and ran to the door ready to vent to Heather, but it was Asher.
"Hey Asher." I say.
"Okay please don't be mad at me, or think I'm insane-" he sighs.
I just stood there confused, what did he do?
