His smile faded fast as he stopped dead in his tracks. He turned his head so fast it gave himself whiplash and stared at his reflection with wide unblinking eyes. He saw his older twin brother Gabriel staring back at him with that look of betrayal glistening in the corners of his eyes.

Lucifer back away from the mirror in shock and frantically closed his eyes. He was breathing heavily when he opened them again.

He saw himself.

A Fallen Angel.

The King of Hell.

Lucifer—staring back at him.

"Why do you wish to go down there so badly Luci?"

"Simple brother, don't you ever long for a little adventure. For once in your angelic life!"

"Hmmmmm...no, not really."

Lucifer gave him a deadpanned stare. "How is it that you're my twin brother again?"

Archangel Michael flew over them and commented as he had challenged Archangel Uriel in a sword fighting duel.

"God deemed it be so, and so it came to be Lucifer. As irritating as your singing voice can be to my eardrums...here you are Short-Stack. Deal with it. As a newly fledged Angel turned Archangel your way to chipper a fellow to be taken seriously. You are the youngest Archangel in Heaven's hierarchy. Count yourself lucky that you weren't made into one of those crooning peacocks currently aggravating Adam down in the Garden of Eden!"
