Josephine smiled softly as she nibbled on the last of her Crème brûlée. She turned towards the Royals, Vincenzo, and Abigail.

"If...you don't mind. What were my parents like down here? I...well my mother died first but I just...my father did he?" She clammed up and bit her lower lip over the emotions. Alastor gently wiped a tear from her eye. She gazed at him and he smiled softly for emotional support. She took a deep breath. "Did—did he ever blame himself for my choices in life?"

Lilith stood up, walked around the table, and took her hands in a comforting hold. "No, he only feared for your safety. He pestered your mother daily if she could sense your soul within the Void or if you were still connected with the practices of Voudon."

Lucifer chuckled fondly. "He drove your mother batty with irritation and yet it was his unconditional love for you that made her check every day, despite the fact he could just ask me to see your Soul Apple."

Lilith spoke solemnly. "He blamed himself for leaving you alone in the beginning. Your his daughter and he was devastated that you had to wittiness his death like that. He was sad that you had to endure so much hardship after his passing, but he knew that you'd survive. You had your mothers teachings after all."

Abigail smiled. "He was so thrilled to know that you returned to New Orleans and started living an actual life instead of shifting around like smoke from one place to the next. He was also royally pissed off when he found out you threatened Josephine with that kitchen knife Alastor."

Alastor paled and chuckled softly as his mother smiled warmly at him. "But he approved of you son." Alastor smiled brightly.

Lucifer laughed. "Poor man was glaring daggers at your head, then Clyde's head, and then towards any other man that looked at her funny. The wedding day...oh I swear he could've burned you alive with that glare. He vowed to haunt you like a poltergeist if you ever hurt her...then that poor man started crying like a newborn baby when you both exchanged your vows."

Abigail smiled with tears welling up into her eyes. "He was soooooo proud of you Josephine. So very proud."

Josephine smiled softly as Lilith released her hands. "Your Mother Amaryllis, well, she was the same as she was in life."

Lucifer chuckled and started listing things off with his fingers. "Witty, stubborn, cunning, brave, compassionate, a realist, and one Helluva spitfire especially when provoked. And let's not forget that woman's hidden temper! She's like an incoming typhoon you've got no chance of running away from her! Hahaha..."

Josephine giggles. "Yep that sounds like my mother alright."

Lilith smiled. "She was always buried in her books. Researching on the Voudon arts and botanical remedies as if she were Charlie binge studying for her final exams of Hell School."

Abigail smiled softly

Abigail smiled softly. "Though her healing ointments were no longer necessary down here, her Aroma Therapy Candles and Oral Medicines were an instant favorite to those who sought her out."
