Josephine was reading in the early morning hours. The guest bedroom in the Magne palace was more "modern" for their taste, but it was only for the night anyway.

Alastor groaned dramatically after he was forced to acknowledge that the lights were actually on and it wasn't a cruel dream. He rolled over onto his back and glared halfheartedly at his wife, only to see her crying. He propped himself up by his elbows.

"Darling?"

Josephine sniffled and her Shadow appeared with a tissue to wipe her eyes. "I'm fine, it's just a really good book..."

"Any plans today?"

She bookmarked the page and closed the book before sending it back to the hotel.

"I'm still trying to process everything we saw yesterday. As much as I want to get started with the Music Studio I'm thinking of something different for today. Mostly I want to give the Magne/Angeles family a break. To allow them to simply be together as a family. I think the others will agree to that logic once I tell them of my plan."

"And what do you have in mind for us today?"

"Well, I remember Stolas saying that he created a park in honor of my parents. I'd like to see it. I also wouldn't mind inviting Stolas and Octavia to come along. The others are free to join us if they want to, but if they have things they want to do today then that's fine."

"I'm sure Husker would rather just head back to the hotel and make sure the liquor cabinet wasn't robbed."

Josephine smiled softly. "Angel Dust will most likely head out with Molly and Mimzy. Mostly to shop and overindulge on sweets."

Alastor smirked. "That Anarchist friend of his will most likely be out spreading explosive chaos for Valentino..."

"Vaggie will most likely stay here with Charlie and her family."

"Mother and Father will either be at the hotel or at Rosie's."

"I know Niffty mentioned something about having an errand to run yesterday morning..."

"Why do I have a feeling it involves a certain Werewolf demon with a death-wish?"

"Ally be nice! He's a good demon and Niffty's happy! Let her do something nice and if something does come out this little crush with Vincenzo then you had better get used to him being around the hotel more often!"

Josephine suddenly giggled and rubbed her belly. "Clementine's awake. Hard to believe it's the fourth month now. It seems like time is just flying on by."

"I know...why couldn't it have felt like that during those 86 years of torturous waiting?"

"Well—when you think about it Ally...it took me a long time to come back home, both in life and in death." She sighed softly as she continued rubbing her belly. "Sorry for making it such a long wait Clementine...Had I known what a loving and sexy man your daddy is when I was younger I would've gone back to New Orleans a whole lot sooner that I did."
