On the rare mornings of no shouting within the Stolas Mansion, Octavia uses that time to read up on another chapter of her favorite series of short stories...
She's already read Three Skeleton Key with the three lighthouse keepers and the hoard of Holland sea rats...by George G. Toudouze.
Today it was...The Most Dangerous Game...by Richard Connell.
"Ha I knew he'd live! Eat on that Zaroff—!"

She looked over the top of her book and checked the time on her Hellphone. She decided that it was probably time to start the day.
She bookmarked the page, set the book aside, dressed, and then put on her headphones.
She paused the music after entering the kitchen she nodded towards her dad.
"Morning dad."
"Oh Via how was your early morning reading my little owlet? Did that Raymond fellow die or live to defeat that villainous Zarnoff?"
"It's Rainsford and Zaroff. And no Rainsford didn't die."
"Well...since your mother's out visiting with one of her 'colleagues'...why don't we have a father daughter day? Doesn't that sound grand?"
Octavia immediately pointed at him with a glare. "No Imp Boyfriend!"
"Hehehe...On my honor Via!"
"...And—no going to places where that Creepy Robot Jester is advertised..."
"Not a single robot jester will come within ten miles of you my little owlet!"
"...Errrr I'm not sure how you're going to uphold that second oath, but fine I guess I can agree to those terms Dad."
Stolas gave a dramatic gasp with a hand over his heart. "Underestimating your own father? Well I have never been so insulted in my life!"
Octavia smirked and rolled her eyes. "Stop with the dramatics dad. Just pleaseeee don't do anything to embarrass me..."
A few minutes later...
"Dadddddddd why that shirt? Where did you even find that shirt?"
