It was during the middle years of the Black Plague of 1346–1353.

The one and only time Michael's paid a personal visit to Lucifer was when he told him of the Fallen Exterminators back when Charlie was still a young child.

1349–it was the end of extermination day.

"Lucifer..."

Lucifer froze and looked up.

"Oh 🤬...it's you."

"Cut it out with the cursing Lucifer and listen up, this is serious. There's—well there's been an incident."

The office instantly turned dark as Lucifer soundproofed the room. "What—Incident?"

A few moments later...

"ARE YOU 🤬 SERIOUS MICHI??? THAT IS THE LAST THING I NEED RIGHT NOW!!! CHARLIE IS STILL A CHILD!!! THEY'LL BE PISSED OFF AND BLOODTHIRSTY!!! HECK THEY'LL LIKELY BLAME ME FOR EVERYTHING!!! WHAT THE 🤬 AM I SUPPOSED TO DO WITH THEM MICHAEL???"

Michael looked pissed, but his voice sounded broken. "You honestly think I would know what to do? This is first time this has ever happened Lucifer! Just...I don't know—you could mostly contain them, that's all you can do right now. We'll think of something and send you a letter soon I promise."

"Great, so you're just dumping me with a monumental problem and forcing me to clean up the mess? I see how it is, this is punishment for my own shortcomings. Isn't it? Being banished to Hell wasn't enough?"

"NO! They're a danger to themselves Lucifer, please. I know you have your own issues with us but...they're still your siblings!"

Lucifer scoffed. "You sound as though I'd contemplate killing them Michael? I know I've sinned and let you all down for loving Lilith and tempting that bastard Adam and that second grade wife he named Eve, but I'm not that cruel! I'm Not Draegan Dread For 🤬 Sake Michael!"

"Lucifer I never said you were I—?"

"It doesn't matter if you did or didn't Michael! What does matter is the simple fact that you think I'd hesitate? Well I won't because if they ever harm my wife and child—they can count my bond as their sibling to be nonexistent!"

Michael stared at Lucifer in shock over what his little brother just said.

Lucifer's eyes however glowed in a state of stunned disbelief over his older brother's shocked expression.

His scornful remark chilled the room like how Azrael's angelic presence chilled everything within a mile radius.

"My wife and child are my entire world and despite how I feel about my own siblings, I would've liked to assume that my own closest siblings would've felt the same way as I do. To think that I had actually believed that you would have had even a sliver of sympathy for the situation I'm in right now? Especially after what happened to Hakim...or has the Valiant Micah gone and taken a backseat to most things these days?"

"Excuse Me?!"

Lucifer stood up and smacked his hands on the desk with a loud bang. "No Michael, I will speak my mind and you are going to listen!"

Lucifer leaned over his desk in a pissed off staring contest with a startled Michael.

"In case you've forgotten—your niece is currently sleeping down the hall. And my patience is wearing away at the soundproofing. So I suggest you do me a favor Michi and Shut The 🤬 Up!"

Lucifer grabbed his apple cane and spoke with a sneer.

"My little Charlotte, your adorable little niece, is still to young to understand the fact that I have to deal with an insurmountable number of variables on a daily basis. Now I have to comprehend with this shitty situation you've just put me into. Your niece is going to most likely remain blissfully unaware of the fact that if I don't play my cards right with them, then I could very well have a hoard of bloodthirsty angels up my 🤬 ass with a vengeance! Angels, Michael! Angels trained in battle that would love nothing more than to kill my little girl for simply being born in Hell!"
