Lucifer's recollection of what Gabriel told him about the Von Eldritch confrontation at the Death Angels Teahouse.

Gabriel was humming a tune to a song that came to his mind as he absentmindedly weaved his hand through his nieces hair before he sighed.

*I certainly hope this dissociation isn't going to become a common occurrence...*

He whispered softly. "Charlie, Charlie...can you hear me at all blink twice for yes?"

Charlie blinked twice and looked at him. He gave her a gentle smile. "Hey there kiddo. I know that was traumatic but your mother is strong. I know she'll be fine."

Charlie stared at him and smiled softly before her eyes hazed over with that far away look again and she returned to her mind of endless happiness. Gabriel sighed and whispered. "I can entrust you to watch over the boys while I stretch my legs for a few seconds?"

She nodded and scooted closer to her brother's even if she wasn't all the way present right now he knew she'll be okay. Gabriel stood up and stretched his legs. His disguised bat-like wings appeared to just vanish into his back after the wings folded up.

He rolled his shoulders and walked around and chatted with the owner who apparently was a rather friendly soul with an affinity to brewing some rather interesting and downright poisonous tea. Despite that, it's the fact Azrael frequents this establishment simply to relax (in as brief of a rest stop his job will allow) Gabriel can understand the reasoning behind it. There's a charming appeal of this Teahouse.

It's homey.

He turned his head back towards the booth Charlie was sitting in and cautiously questioned the owner.

"Ms. Nightshade, you've seen the Princess around here a lot recently...is—is this disassociation a common occurrence for her recently?"

"You say that as though you're close with the Princess?"

"Well...my brother and I are...rather close with her family. She's practically a niece to my brother and I...and this," he turned his gaze back towards his niece. "This isn't normal for her...or at least—I don't think it is? I regret to say that I have not considered doing such an in-depth psychological delving in regards to her until now. It's worrisome. Considering how she's my—I mean, how much I've heard about her from her father...the King I just..."

"Well...I'd say this isn't as uncommon. Most of the time she'd usually come in here during her bad days and sits in that booth with a warm cup of tea. Though...I have noticed during moments of traumatic stress that she'll just shutdown and run on autopilot like a robot."

"So it's not as common of an occurrence...it's only happened on occasion? Oh thank goodness."

"Best head back over there she looks like she did the day the Grace's passed and the day she came in here crying about her idiot father disowning her over that hotel." Ms Nightshade rolled her eyes. "Honestly, the poor dear is just as dramatic as the King and I mean the kindheartedly! I knew from the get go that the King would never disown her. It took fifteen cups of tea to get her to regain some 🤬 sense of the situation—and then the tears were next. Cried a river indoors, poor girl. I made sure to slap that Apple Loving Fool once he showed his face in here. I was glad to hear that they made up, because I was really close to getting Rosie and Abigail involved with an intervention."

Gabriel chuckled softly. "Glad to hear that she had a safe place to confide her soul to. Although fifteen cups of tea...father above she took after me..."
