Arackniss was walking down the streets against the diagonal pouring rain with a twitching right eye over his sister.

"I'm soaked to the 🤬 bone and I'm just supposed to go knocking and hope that Amos or that Cthulhu portal beast don't instantly tear me apart?"

He groaned as he neared the building only to blink as a familiar one-eyed, pinkish blonde, demoness climbed up a ladder (that she liked stole) and slipped through an open window.

"Okay Cherri what are you doing here?"

His eyes narrowed in concern. That's his brothers window.

Yes he knows which room is his brothers room in the hotel. Why, because he tracked down Charlie about a week after that botched TV interview with Killjoy about which room his brother stayed in. Of course he made her swear to secrecy about why he wanted to know. Only after divulging to her and that overprotective Salvadoran girlfriend that he's Antho—Angel Dust's—older brother.

God just saying that name was like a knife to the heart. Angel Dust. Arackniss often wondered if it was a name Anthony chose, or one that was chosen for him?

Either way the Princess and her girlfriend surprised him that day by not saying a word to Tony! Even now he's amazed by the loyalty of these demons and demonesses that Tony's surrounded himself with. Once Arackniss heard about what Amos Williams did to that rat of a moth named Val-ass-tino...he happily toasted a pint of beer with Vincenzo in the wolf demons office.

He was jolted out of his reminiscing by a blast of thunder that had all his spider fuzz sticking up on end. He shuddered and then blinked in realization. Tony always hated storms. Molly was always dead to the world once her head hits the pillow, but Tony...

Arackniss quickly hurried over and climbed up the ladder. He was grateful the window was connected to a small balcony with a covered overhang. He made sure that they couldn't see him and cautiously peeked into the room through the glass. What he saw broke his heart.

*Oh Tony...*

"Hey Angie...what's wrong?"

Angel Dust refused to answer her
