Lilith was staring out of the bedroom window with a worried gaze. Her silver eyes glowed as she gazed towards the Ring of Wrath.

"Draegan...why do I have a feeling you know something? Why—why can't I sleep tonight?"

Lucifer walked up to her and snaked his arms around her waist after waking up to an empty bed. "My love...after all these Eons your still worried?"

"Luci your not blind, he's a threat. Sure Raguel sends more of the exterminators to Dread Keep as a extra measure to assure that they know their place but...something is bugging me."

"The song? You think they will know?"

"Yes, I do. Demonia is insane, but she's not stupid. And Draegan's only gotten more cunning as the decades pass. Granted having Xander around is an extra irritation to him..."

"Xander...I'm a little worried about what he'll think regarding Josephine's connection to the Shadow Mages?"

"For some reason I think Josephine might be the key to helping Xander's soul. You know his life was Hell long before he came down here. If only he knew just how much I had tried to save him from the void...before he..." she sighed softly in regret. "The fact that he's so chaotically neutral isn't the issue for me Luci, it's the reason Amaryllis and Johnathan died that's bugging me?"

"Whatever do you mean?"

"The Exterminator's...they knew the powers that Voodoo Mages have. To attack one is to risk their own injury. None of them would be so bold. I don't like it. I never did...but now I'm beginning to think it was staged. And I think Draegan is to blame."

Lucifer's eyes turned red with anger. "We mustn't tell any of this to Josephine, not yet Lily. We need proof."

"Perhaps that is where Xander's expertise in spying will be of use to us."

Lucifer scoffed with an eye roll. "Like he would ever agree to help us?"

"Doesn't he have a huge crush on Charlie, since she knows how it feels to be ostracized by everyone?"

"But we also know h—!"

"Yes darling we also know how it feels, but you know how he is...he only trusts his "friends" Lucifer. His infatuation with Charlie might be the neutral ground to get him to help."

"Or slaughter Vagatha..."

"Luci!"

"So why do you think Josephine is the key to helping Xander's lost soul anyway darling?"

"I don't know, I just feel like she's the only one who can. Who knows, she might even view him as a brother?" She smirked.

Lucifer laughed. "Hahahaha! Ohhhh Xander won't know what to do after that! He already see's Alastor as his idol!"
