The next morning...

Josephine woke up in a nice bed and sat up with a yawn. She opened the door and was immediately greeted by a red faced Alastor. She then realized she was only wearing her nightgown and screamed as she ducked behind the door. "I'm so sorry Al!"

He stared like a deer gazing down the loaded barrel of a gun. A squeaking sound emanated from his parted lips over the shock as he attempted to speak.

"...No—No problem...I—uh I went ahead and ran a bath for you so it's warm. I'll—I'll just be downstairs..."

He gulped and hastily turned around on his heels and left for the kitchen as if he was on autopilot. Josephine stood there in shock before walking towards the bathroom and closed the door. She then buried her face within her hands. "Ohhhh God why? That was soooo embarrassing!"

After the bath she grabbed a towel and after peaking out to make sure the coast is clear she ran to her designated room and shut the door with a bang. Alastor heard that from the kitchen and he smirked while shaking his head as he took a sip of his dark roast coffee.

He stared at her up until the moment she cleared her throat. "Ahem...uh usually this is the moment when the handsome gentleman complements the fair lady on her outfit?"

He blinked and grinned. "Oh uh I—I like the red. Really like the red..."

She blushed softly and bit her lower lip. "Thank you Alastor."

"So how do you take your coffee?"

"Black, just like my soul!"

"Hahaha funny my dear! One black soul coffee coming right up!"

Outside of the Radio Station Josephine was talking with Mimzy while Alastor got his day started with the morning report.

Mimzy was, needless to say, flabbergasted by the news of Josephine's little roommate agreement with Alastor.

"Seriously, you're saying there was no kissing involved, nothing?"

"It wasn't a date Mimzy! We just talked that's all!"

"Huh well with the way you both acted around each other yesterday you could've fooled me."

"I'm going to be helping him at the Radio Station during the night and throughout the day whenever needed. But on Friday's I'll come over to your little house of entertainment for a night of singing to the crowds." They entered the radio station and Josephine was struck by how professional everything looked.

But it was hearing Alastor's singing voice that stilled her heart.
