It is done

You sat on a throne you had made yourself, thorns protruding upwards with a small fire burning by itself in the middle. As the thorns wrapped themselves around the ball of heat but weren't turning to ash.

Inuyasha stood with Kagome in his arms which made you rake your nails along the arms of your chair. But you presented a fake smile, his devotion to protect the female pissed you off massively as you had thought only anger would reside in you but jealously took at the wheel of your feelings.

"So are you having second thoughts about agreeing to this Inuyasha?"

"No."

Kagome decided to butt in before you spoke. "How long does he need to stay here for?"

Your (e/c) eyes flashed with malice as your gaze shot to her. Kagome closed her mouth as she felt intimidated by you. "For as long as he is alive."

The school burst from his hold, "that's insane you can't-"

You were in front of her within a second. Grabbing her wrist with a scowl on your face. "Kagome!" Inuyasha raced to protect her but a wall of fire restrained him. "You are in my grounds now human and you will not get in the way. If you want to leave. Go, I could care less what you do as long as you don't get in my way. Or stay since you seemed so keen earlier."

"By the way I can do what I want with him since this deal was made before you were born. I am made to do my duty and by the law of the gods he is to oblige or I am to bestow the consequences if he doesn't. You need to know the facts before you run that tongue of yours."

"Ow!" Your palms were slightly heating up and burning her skin so you let go. "Think of me as a monster if you will but I always made sure everyone knew what they signed up for. I became a monster purely because you humans made me one."

Inuyasha was no longer restrained by fire but by shackles as Ze'ev with a smug grin cuffed him. Chains connected to a nail in the floor as his arms were raised up high.

Both questioned what you were going to do. Kagome rubbed at the red mark around her wrist. Ze'ev appeared again behind the dog demon with a whip.

Kagome's brown eyes widened and you saw the fear fill his amber ones. "I'm not much of a waiter I like to make things go quickly. So you will suffer all that you have done Inuyasha."

You squinted your eyes as you said, "whether you remember or not."

Kaede folded her hands into her lap, "this is troublesome indeed, this girl does not sound like an ordinary being."

Sango sighed, "we can't just sit here while he and Kagome could be hurt or worse dead."

Miroku came in with Gichii by the collar. "He might be able to answer some things for us." The monk threw him the floor, the old man tried to run but Miroku and Kirara blocked the doorway.

He shivered at the terrifying creature that was once a small cat to a large demon that too had powers of fire. That element would forever scare him, "what could I possibly tell you?"

Sango glared at him, "all you know would be a good start."

Every one of them surrounded him in a human circle as they sat on the floor. "Fine. But only because he freed me from the fire bitch. I made a deal with her to keep my offspring prosperous throughout the generations. Happy and healthy basically. But she wanted too much for what I was asking so I had come up with a plan to stop her."

Sango interrupted. "I'm pretty sure I heard I say she told you the cost of doing deals with her."

Gichii began to sweat, "damn you people."

Kaede spoke, "I believe it best to leave it for now. Our focus should be Inuyasha and Kagome."

Miroku ran a hand through his hair, "she's not going to be easy to defeat." Gichii laughed, "you can't her power is unmatched."

Nobody wanted to say it but he was right.

Ze'ev held great satisfaction in seeing his skin being ripped open with each lash of the whip. Bleeding, raw skin never given the chance to heal as it was whipped repeatedly. Inuyasha had blood also dribbling down his cheek as he'd bitten his tongue to the point he couldn't feel it.

You'd had to keep a ring of fire around the girl as tears streamed down her cheeks. A pool of his blood soaked into his pants as his knees were in it. His cheeks were stained with dried tears as the hot, blinding pain of the whip met his back with no break, no way to prepare his brain for the anguish.

You sat on your throne with a pleased grin, causally listening to his screams of agony. "It really was noble of you to offer up your life for Gichii and your friends. But I wonder how long you can withstand each lash as it tears your flesh? It's late and I would like to see you suffer but I need sleep like any mortal."

Kagome went up in a burst of flames as you sent her to locked room. His gaze was ferocious, asking where she was. It disgusted you, "she's fine I promised I wouldn't hurt her. Unlike you I keep mine. Ze'ev keep at it I'm off to bed."

"Yes my lady."

You were gone too, Ze'ev stopped for just a moment and whispered in Inuyasha's ear as he panted. "You know she should have just killed you but this is a mercy compared to being burnt alive. You are a stain on my mistress's life, wouldn't it be a pity if you died from blood loss." He ended his words with a smile void of any warmth.

This man was a heartless dick, where had you picked him from? Why did he follow you so willingly?

But before he could question anymore the whip hit his skin and he cried out. "Gah! Uh!" He grit his teeth as he pulled against the restrains.

At least Kagome was safe.
