(Present)

It'd taken a total of 5 days to get through through the story as you'd get snarky when he was wrong. But Inuyasha had begun to cry when all the memeories were finally cleared up.

He mumbled, "I'm sorry." Multiple times and that had managed to pull on your heartstrings but you refused to let him win. "As promised I will bring upon your death."

The fire danced inbetween your fingers, the door burst open from Kagome's room. She flew down the stairs as quick as lightning, throwing herself onto Inuyasha.

Any wounds she'd sustained from Ze'ev had healed due to a magic healer you had in your company. "Stop please don't kill him!"

You stared at Kagome as she too had tears running down her face. "Don't think I won't kill you too."

Inuyasha then begged you, "please don't hurt her."

You were absolutely stunned, he was not glaring at you for your comment. "No snarl or growl?"

Those amber pupils seemed to clutch your very soul. "After what I did to you I don't have any right to be angry at you."

Kagome hugged Inuyasha tighter, "please show him the kindness you showed me. I know deep down you aren't a monster, I was wrong to call you that. I'm sorry."

You gripped the ends of your throne, you'd heard all that shit before. "He's said exactly that and look what happened. Now move."

She did. But towards you.

"What are you doing?"

Kagome flung her arms around you and you froze. Inuyasha's eyes widened, "Kagome!"

You tried to push her away but Kagome held tight. "Get off me!"

"If you're going to burn me, burn me! But I can't let you kill Inuyasha because of a huge mistake. Most of all I love him and if you take him away I can't bear the thought!"

You stopped struggling at her words, Inuyasha then pleaded with you. "(Y/n) I know I hurt you but I don't want to die...please let us go. Nothing can make up for what I did and I'm not asking you to forgive me."

Your arms fell to your side and Kagome gently pressed your face into her shoulder. As she knew you were crying and you didn't want anyone to see.

"(Y/n) I know you hate Inuyasha but I can see you also still love him. He's hurt me too ever since Kikyo was resurrected. I know our pain is different and you are hurting so much more than me. But please give him mercy. Let him bare the weight of his memories as punishment."

You let go a loud sob.

You ripped yourself from the school girl and wiped your eyes. "You think I can just put all that behind me so suddenly? Everything I've done...all the hate I used as a guide to find my purpose when I returned...what am I supposed to do with it all?"

Inuyasha looked at you, his gaze soft and it reminded you of the garden, the words he said that had touched you. In truth you were turning into the monster everybody painted you as.

So even with all this chaos being for naught you gave up. Plus there was this girl...who was like you with her desire to protect Inuyasha. She truly loved him like you did.

You were taking away someone from their beloved. You were the bad guy. Evil in other words.

You curled your fingers into a fist, "I'm sorry too. What I've done cannot be forgiven either, so both mine and your option Inuyasha is to move on. I cannot forget the agony of the years I spent under the sea. Therefore I cannot forgive. But I can accept you are different now like myself."

You threw Inuyasha the top half of his clothing. "Be on your way." He smiled but his expression turned to shock. "Watch out!"

But after he shouted you felt the sword tear right through your stomach. Blood pooling off the edge of the blade.

"Who-what?!"

His voice made it clear who. "After all I did for you, you choose to keep them alive!" He pushed it further in.

Cupping your chin with one hand, he said into your ear. "For ages I was your loyal servant, I loved you. Wanted to be your Storm Knight but your stupid feelings got in the way. That is why I followed you, waited eagerly for your return. So you're just as hypocritical."

You could taste the substance on your mouth. A metal tang coating your tongue as it filled your throat.

"Z...Ze'ev...not you too.."

"I alone was there for you when you complained about him! The rotten dog who was not worth whining over!"

He stepped backwards and you dropped like a fly. Hand covering your   wound.

"You'll die from that." He laughed.

You glared at him, "and you'll die from this." You sent flames his way and he was too slow to move from the attack. His screams echoed in the room as he ran about.

Only silencing when he fell to the ground still burning. Inuyasha And Kagome ran to you.

"Shit! Where do you keep your medical supplies?"

"No...don't."

You weakly raised a hand and he intertwined his fingers with yours. "I'm running out...of time..anyway."

Kagome felt her eyes water, "but you don't deserve to die."

You lifted yourself up, Inuyasha tried to lie you back down. You shook your head, "this is far from over guys, isn't it Aarzoo?"

All heads turned to a man with black hair and stunning, bright white irises. A crown of small stars adorned his head though it hovered still above, not touching his scalp. The voice that spoke sounded young and confident but all together mostly toneless.

"Oh yes (Y/n)."

One of your makers. God of wishes. Was here to rid of your failed existence like all the gods and goddesses had done with theirs.
