I was finishing up my protein bar and water bottle when I heard a knock on the door. I looked out the little peep hole on the door, and when I saw it was Rory with several plastic bags, I opened the door. "Hey, sorry I left you here with nothing to do." Rory said, setting the plastic bags on the small dining table. "It's alright I found stuff to do." I responded. I then froze a little when I realized I didn't dispose of the shattered ear piece.

Rory caught my glance at the pieces and looked down at them. "Did you, uh, get mad when I was gone?" he asked, with a slight chuckle. I sighed, and responded, "I found out that I kept an earpiece from the academy, and when a friend contacted me on it I crushed it so they wouldn't be able to contact me again." "Wait, who tried to contact you?" Rory asked, grabbing the shattered pieces and throwing it in the trash. "This hacker boy I met named Luke. Every solo spy gets a hacker to help." I explained.

"You told me you worked alone." Rory replied. "I told you I never got another partner. Hackers do not count as partners." I responded. "Okay, well, I got some clothes for you. Don't worry it's not dresses or skirts." Rory said, reaching into the bag.

I saw Rory pull out several, different colored T-shirts, about 5 pairs of jeans and sweatpants, two sweatshirts, several pairs of white socks, and a pair of grey shoes. "That's a lot of stuff, and you were able to pay for all these clothes, and food?" I exclaimed, examining the other two bags of groceries. "Didn't I tell you I have a job?" Rory asked. "I thought you got a job, but you quit so you could find me." I responded. "Nope, still have a job. Got a week off so I could find you." Rory answered. "How many things are you not telling me right away?" I asked, throwing my hands into the air.

"Calm down, okay? I will explain everything, but I'm pretty sure now is not the time." Rory said, peeking out the window. I walked to his side and followed his gaze. Two people, a male and a female, were coming out of a vehicle; a spy academy vehicle! "We gotta get out of here. Change into these clothes, put your hair up in a ponytail, and put a hat on, so they don't recognize you." Rory ordered, as he threw a maroon shirt and a pair of jeans. This time they didn't hit me in the face and I caught them before they could.

I rushed into the bathroom and got changed in a span of a few minutes. I took a hair tie from my uniform, and put my long, brown hair in a high ponytail. Rory gave me one of his baseball caps and I put it on. Rory was also in different clothes and he had a baseball cap on too. He packed all our things and handed most of the bags to me.

"Take these out to the car through the back door. I'll pay for the room and meet you there." Rory said. "You better be careful," I responded, as we went out the door. Rory locked the door behind us, and we headed to the elevator. Once we were on the main floor, I headed to the back door and Rory headed to the lobby.

I closed the trunk of the Mustang and got into the passenger seat to wait for Rory. My heart was racing the entire time, and my leg bounced up and down. My eyes kept glancing between the back door and the sidewalk that led to the front door; the agents were going to eventually exit through the back door, but will they exit before Rory comes around the corner?

I saw Rory come around the corner, and I let myself slump into my seat with relief. Rory opened the driver's seat and threw himself in. "Did they see you?" I asked, as Rory fumbled with keys. "Yeah, but I'm not sure if they recognized me." Rory answered, turning on the ignition. The two agents then fell through the back door, and spotted both of us. When they started sprinting toward us, I urged Rory to hurry up.

Rory quickly pulled out of the parking lot and sped down the road. "Well, we know they recognized you." I answered, as we slowed down. "Yeah, now they know that it's me, now." Rory responded. "Sorry." I mumbled. "Why are you sorry? You didn't do anything." Rory asked, glancing at me with confusion. "I talked to Luke through the earpiece, and they probably traced the call to our location because I didn't tell Luke where we were." I explained. "If you talked to him this morning, they wouldn't have found us that fast. The tracker in your neck probably gave us away." Rory responded. "Where are we going to get it out, anyway?" I asked. "My family is in Philadelphia, and that's where we're going." Rory answered. "Your family?" I asked, with wide eyes.
