Zylina's Point of View
I was reading my book, when the door just suddenly opened up, and I practically jumped out of my chair. My head snapped around and saw Rory, before mentally sighing with relief.
"We've been on the road for about a week and a half, and you are still extremely jumping." Rory commented. "It comes in handy though." I mumbled. I then remember what I had read in the article and said, "Rory, there's 500-"
"I know 500 missing child cases across Ohio. Zylina, we're not going to be able to keep up." Rory cut in. "How'd you know?" I asked, a little shocked.
"My mom called to check in and told me." Rory answered, grabbing several sandwiches from the plastic bag.
"Rory, we need to get Martin and Mya out of there as soon as we can. It might as well be tonight." I said, slumping in the chair. "I know, we need to think of strategy, so Martin and Mya don't get hurt." Rory responded, sitting across from me.
"How are we supposed to do that? Martin and Mya are three years old, are probably heavily guarded, and there's a 50-50 chance the spies stationed there are expecting us." I reminded him, before taking a bite from my sandwich. "
Like you said, we're the best agents that came from the Academy. We'll think of something, but for now let's enjoy our lunch shall we?" Rory answered, with a smirk. I smiled back and we enjoyed our lunch, though the coming events were weighing on my mind.

8:00 pm that night...
I sat anxiously on the bed in my reformed uniform; I had cut off some pants, so it was now right under the knees, and I even had to grab some spray paint and spray the once maroon uniform, navy blue.
I heard the bathroom door open, and stood up smiling as Rory emerged in his new "uniform." It was a long-sleeve navy blue shirt and black swat pants. "We can't have them recognizing us." I mentioned. Rory's eyes lit up as he went to the duffel bag, and pulled out two handkerchiefs; both black. As he tossed one to me, I asked, "Do you just keep bandana's in your bag?"
"Since we're trying to expose the Academy, I figured we might do something like this so I bought these while we were on the road." Rory answered, zipping the duffel bag back up. I rolled my eyes, but laughed a little of how prepared he was; I've never met anyone like him.
"Remember the plan?" Rory asked. I looked at him and nodded; I was nervous, but I was trying my hardest not to show it. Unfortunately, Rory saw right through me and sat next to me on the bed. I felt his gaze burning through me, but I was stubborn enough to try and avoid it.
"Zylina, look at me." Rory ordered; I wanted to disobey, but instinct told me not too, so I locked eyes with him.
"Before you ask, "what's going on with me?" I'm fine." I told him. Rory gave me a stern look and raised his eyebrow. "I'm nervous, that's all. If we do one step of this plan wrong, either we're going to get injured or killed, or the children will be. It's a lot of pressure."
Rory wrapped his hand around my cuff still placed on my left wrist; out of instinct I tensed up. "Zylina, you're scared. Don't pretend I don't know what you look like when you're scared." Rory said. I inhaled sharply; he had seen right through my brave eyes.
"I don't want you or the children getting because of me." I admitted, looking away from his glance. "Because of you?" he questioned. I didn't respond, and it only took him a few moments to realize what I was talking about.
"You mean that list you gave the boss the day I came back for you?" he asked. I gave him a quick glance and nodded.
"Zylina, you didn't know you were hurting anyone. You were following rules and protocol." Rory tried to reassure me. I still had guilt inside of me and no one could reverse. "It was still me who did it." I whispered.
I heard Rory sigh in frustration and then I heard him say, "Little Z, you need to let go of your guilt." I looked up at the clock and softly said, "We need to leave." I got off the bed and after a few moments, I heard his footsteps following me.
