The apartment building didn't look too abandoned; at least it's not cliché. Rory and I sat in the car across the street in front of the building, waiting from something to happen. "Maybe you're right, Rory. It's probably a trap." I mumbled, as I continued to stare at the structure.

"You said so yourself, this is the only lead we have right now, so we might as well wait another 10 minutes." Rory reminded me. I let out a sigh, while my eyes continued to scan the area around the building. Something then caught my eyes, and averted my eyes toward the glare; there was a bumper of a car peaking out slightly from behind the building!

"Rory, I think I see the back of a car." I said. I heard Rory shift in his seat, probably trying to get a better seeing angle. "I see it, stay here." he said, opening the door. Before he could go anywhere though, I grabbed his arm and pulled him back in. "Not this time; I'm going." I exclaimed.

"What? It's too dangerous." Rory tried arguing, as I took my hair and pulled it into a high ponytail. "Danger is practically our daily lives. Besides, you got to lead the enemy away last time." I stated, taking the baseball cap he had given me and putting it on. I saw him open his mouth so he could protest, so I decided to cut him off, "You can't talk me out of it. Look for me in about 10 minutes." I smiled at Rory, who was staring right back at me with a face of shock and surprise, and got out of the car before crossing the road to get to the apartment building.

I kept my head low, as I crept behind the building; I had been right about the glare. It's one of the Spy Academy vehicles. I glanced in the car through the window, and saw several photos; two of them matched Martin and Mya's description. It's not a trap. They're actually here. I looked around, and saw a metal door; I went to try and pull it open, but it wouldn't budge. "Great, it's locked. Better get Rory so we can come up with a plan." I mumbled to myself, rubbing the back of my neck. However, before I could think another thought, a hand covered my mouth.

It was a beefy hand, so I knew it wasn't Rory's instantly, and then adrenaline started to kick in throughout my body. I kicked and clawed at the hand, and tried shouting, though it was all in vain. The beefy hand tightened its grip on my mouth, as I felt whoever it was pulling me toward the building. No, no, no. I can't let them pull me into the building!

Seeing no other option, I pulled the hand down when it loosened to open the open, and bit down hard. My attacker jerked their hand back, and let out a yelp; I, on the other hand, wasted no time getting out of there as fast as I could. I didn't even look back to see who my attacker was, I just took off back to the car.

I skidded to a halt when I reached the main road; there were too many cars driving on the road. "Come on, there has to be a gap somewhere." I pleaded with myself, while my desperate eyes scanned the line of cars. After several of some of the longest moments in my life, there was finally a gap in the line of cars, and I sprinted across the road as soon as I heard footsteps running toward me from behind.

I got in front of the car, and shouted, "Rory, start the car and drive now!" I had just shut the passenger door, when Rory started to back out, pull out onto the main road, and speed to the motel. "Zylina, what happened?" he questioned, as he made a turn and started to slow down. I looked at him; he was giving me some sort of side glare. "It isn't a trap. They weren't expecting us." I replied.
