Two Weeks Later

Hank Voight

I was sitting in my office gong over some paperwork, when Jay walked in my office,

"What's up?" I asked him

"We got a hit on Freddy Graham."

"Where?"

"He just got picked up in the 31st."

"Let's go."

He was escorted into the interrogation room

"Who are you?"

"You attacked one of my guys," He laughed

"Attacked a cop? Are you crazy? I steal things but I'm not violent check my record."

"Oh we did and its a long sheet you got here." I said flipping through hid file

"Sheet? I'd call it a book, three strikes you're out especially for trying to kill a cop." Jay added

"I didn't kill anybody."

"Wait that would be a triple attempted murder counting the unborn baby." I said as he started tripping

"What baby? I swear I don't know what you're talking about!"

"This! The green Honda you stole! Then you ran down an officer and his pregnant girlfriend!" Jay said showing the crime scene photos

"No, this wasn't me!"

"One of your guys then?"

"No!"

"Do you recognize him?" I asked showing him the picture of Isaac Welsh something about him didn't sit right with me

"Yeah, that's the guy that paid me to beat him up."

"What?"

"Yeah, he paid me 600 bucks to rough him up but not hurt him too bad."

"When was this?"

"I don't know about two months ago, he was already kind of banged up, but I didn't ask any questions he had cash, so I took it." He said and I looked at Jay

"That's enough for a probable cause warrant." I told him and we left the room. Jay went to work on the warrant and I called Antonio

"Yeah?" He answered

"What do you know about Isaac Welsh?" I asked

"Not much besides that he works with Alayna. Why?"

"I think he's the one who came at you."

"Fuck!"

"We're waiting on a warrant to go check out his place."

"No you need to move now! Alayna is on her way over there!"

Earlier

Antonio was getting out today, I was happy we could finally be at home together. Marco was doing a lot better, just last week we were able to hold him outside of the incubator, once I got to hold him I never wanted to let go, he still had a little more growing to do before we could take him home, but I was counting the days. I was on my way to the hospital when he called me

"I'm coming!" I said with a laugh

"You were 'coming' 10 minutes ago, did you just leave the house?"

"No I've been in the car for almost five minutes now." I admitted and he laughed

"Well come on, I'm ready to go home women."
