Three weeks later

I was on edge I was still getting hang up calls and texts. I've blocked at least six numbers by now and I was considering changing my number but that meant I would have to come clean to Antonio. He knew something I was up because I had been really jumpy lately, and I hardly ever went home since I knew he was watching the place but if this didn't stop, I was going to have to tell him.

We were leaving out 10 weeks checkup and we were able to hear the heartbeat and we saw our little baby that was the size of a strawberry now

'So next time she's going to tell us it's a boy?" Antonio asked

"It could still be a girl."

"Nope I can't do it." He shook his head

"Why?' I asked with a laugh

"You see these grey hairs it's because a boy asked Eva to her dance coming up."

"You do not have grey hair."

"I will between you, Eva, and Gaby I don't need any more beautiful girls in my life." He said and I laughed

"Well you do know it's up to your little swimmers, so if we have a girl it's on you." I teased

"Do you have time for lunch?" I asked him just as our phones rang

"Dawson."

"Dr. Cortez.'

We looked at each

"Be right there."

"On my way."

"You spoke too loudly."

"I agree." I said then kissed his lips

"Go save some lives."

"You too and be careful." I said then he walked away but I called out to him

'Hey, can I to talk to you about something really quick."

"Can it wait until tonight?" He asked

"Yeah."

"See you later, last one home picks up Chinese."

"Deal." I said then I headed off to work

I was in the ER when I spotted Gaby

"Hi beautiful." I said

"Hey,"

"What did you bring us?'

"ETOH, in certain two."

"Oh, got to love it." I said and she smiled

"So, how's our baby?" she asked he was only able to hold it in that Antonio told her for a week

"Baby Dawson is doing great, strong heartbeat growing on time. So, we might be able find out what we're having at the next appointment."

"Oh, can I come?" She asked with a smile

"Sure, it's February 12 at 11."

"I am so there."

"Your brother is freaking out about another girl; he says we already give him grey hair."

"He doesn't have any grey hair."

"That's what I said." I told her and she laughed then her radio went off

"I got to roll."

"See you sis." I said as she left the ER
