Valyria was off duty so she donned her leather jerkin instead of her gold and white armor. She was strolling to Tyrion's room when she found him walking towards her. "Not trying to figure out how to steal money from the Tyrells?" She said jokingly.

Tyrion smiled, "I'm afraid not. But you happen to be exactly who I'm looking for. My father has requested us at the Tower of the Hand." Valyria's smile dropped "Do you know why he has requested us?" She asked as they made their way through the keep. "No that's what worries me." He said as they reached the stairway to the small council chamber.

When they walked inside they saw not only Lord Tywin but Cersei as well. "You're late," Tywin stated, more to Tyrion than Valyria. "What's she doing here?" Tyrion spat at his sister. "Our business concerns her too. . . Sit." They quickly did as they were bid.

"You'll be pleased to learn that after one conversation with Olenna Tyrell, I've saved the crown hundreds of thousands on this wedding," Tyrion said. "Never mind that now, we have something important to discuss." Tywin dismissed. "I'm Master of Coin, saving money is important. . . Stop that. You're making me uncomfortable ." Tyrion stared at his sister who was smirking at him.

"Your sister has learned that your new friends, the Tyrells, are plotting to marry Sansa Stark to their heir, Willas Tyrell," Tywin stated. "Very well, she's a lovely girl," Tyrion spoke. "I bring them into the royal fold, and this is how they repay me. By trying to steal the key to the North, out from under me." "Sansa is the key to the North? I seem to remember she has an older brother." Valyria chimed in

"The Karstarks have marched home. The Young Wolf has lost half his army, his days are numbered. Theon Greyjoy murdered both his brothers. That makes Sansa Stark the heir to Winterfell. And I am not about to hand her over to the Tyrells." Tywin deadpanned as he lectured his de facto daughter.

"The Tyrell army is helping us to win this war. Do you really think it's wise to refuse them?" Tyrion joined back into the conversation. "There's nothing to refuse. This is a plot, plots are not public knowledge, and the Tyrells won't carry this one out until after Joffrey's wedding. We need to act first, and kill this union in its crib." "And how do we do that?" Tyrion questioned.

"We find Sansa Stark a different husband," Tywin stated as if it were the most obvious thing in the world. "Wonderful." "Yes, it is," Cersei said giddily to her dwarf brother. Valyria's eyes widened at the implication; apparently, it dawned on Tyrion, for he too shared a look of shock.

"You can't mean it." "I can and I do," Tywin said to his son. "Joffrey has made this poor girl's life miserable since the day he took her father's head, now she's finally free of him and you give her to me? That's cruel, even for you." "Do you intend to mistreat her? The girl's happiness is not my concern, nor should it be yours." "She's a child!" "She's flowered I assure you, she and I discussed it at length," Cersei added.

'What a horrible conversation that must have been.' Valyria shuddered at the thought. "See? You will wed her, bed her, and put a child in her. Surely you're capable of that." Tywin commanded. "And if I refuse?" "You wanted to be rewarded for your valor in battle. Sansa Stark is a finer reward than you could ever dare hope for. And it is past time that you were wed."

'Oh no, don't remind him, not now.' Valyria thought as Tyrion yelled "I was wed. Or don't you remember?" "Only too well," Tywin said through gritted teeth. "You should be thanking the gods for this, this is more than you deserve." Cersei broke the staredown between father and son.

"Tyrion will do as he's bid, as will you and Valyria." Both women turned to look at the Lion of Lannister. "What do you mean?" Cersei questioned. "When Jaime returns, Valyria will wed him, and he can finally take his place as Lord of Casterly Rock. And you both will provide me with new heirs to Casterly Rock."

"A brilliant plan. I know you've wanted this match for years, but you seem to have forgotten one crucial detail. Both Jaime and I are in the Kingsguard, it's a sworn brotherhood for life. We can't just leave when we want to!" Her voice rose as she spoke until she was shouting. "There'll be no more debate on the subject. Joffrey will remove you from the Kingsguard and you will do your duty." Tywin spoke forcefully,

"My duty? If I recall correctly, once I am removed from the Kingsguard, I become Princess Valyria Targaryen; eldest living child of Aerys and Rhaella, and in the eyes of many true heir to the Iron Throne." Valyria said angrily while Tywin glared at her. "I am not a pawn, to be used by you to give you heirs!" she yelled.

Tywin slammed a fist onto the table. "Enough! Your thoughts will not change the matter. You and Jaime will marry and have heirs. Your arguing won't delay the fact!" he roared. Forcing Valyria to back down. Lord Tywin then looked to Cersei. "And You'll marry Willas," Tywin said to his daughter.

"I will not." "The boy is heir to Highgarden. Tyrion will secure the North, Valyria, and Jaime will secure the West and you will secure the Reach." "No, I won't do it." "Yes, you will. You're still fertile, you need to marry again and breed."

"I am Queen Regent, not some broodmare!" "You're my daughter! You will do as I command and you will marry Willas Tyrell. And put an end to the disgusting rumors about you once and for all." The lion roared. Cersei shook her head, "Father don't make me do it again please." "Not another word. My children, you've disgraced the Lannister name for far too long." He said as he strolled out of the room, leaving the three in silence.
