Background information:

Valyria Targaryen was born to King Aerys II Targaryen and his sister-wife Queen Rhaella Targaryen in the late part of 268 AC in Kings Landing. She was named for the fallen Targaryen homeland, though many compared her to the formidable Queen Visenya. Her elder brother Rhaegar is older than her by 9 years, while Viserys is younger than her by 8 years, and Daenerys is younger by 14 years.

Note: Valyria is sometimes referred to as "Sen" this is her nickname given to her by Rhaegar. It is a shortened version of Visenya, who Valyria is often compared to. Also in later chapters she is referred to as "The Red Dragon" she gets this name after the Siege of Pyke, it is a play on her apparent Lannister allegiance, as well as the fact that she is a warrior and spilled blood.
Appearance:

Valyria is around 5 feet 2 inches tall, she has silver blond hair and amethyst eyes. She looked very similar to her ancestor Visenya, she wasn't the most beautiful woman in the Seven Kingdoms but she was still held in high regard.
Her hair wasn't as long as most women's, she usually wore it with two French braids extending to the crown of her head, and two smaller braids above her ears, then wrapping around the remaining hair forming a ponytail, with two small wisps framing her face, the end might stay as a ponytail, extending to her upper-mid back or a small loop.
