The moment he fell in love~

The two of you stood under the shelter of your school as you looked out at the pouring rain. The sky was dark and thunder rumbled from in between the miserable grey clouds.

You looked towards Yamaguchi who was staring at the gloomy sky.

"Did you bring an umbrella?" you asked.

He turned to look at you before he shook his head. You sighed; you hadn't brought one either.

"What are we gonna do? Should I call our parents?" he asked but you just shook your head.

"It's fine. We can just run, it's only rain, right?" you smiled.

Yamaguchi stared back out at the downpour hesitantly before shrugging and holding out his hand for you to take. You grinned and clasped his hand tightly before looking forward again.

"Ready? Three, two, one, GO!" you shouted as you both took off sprinting.

The two of you had made it about half of the way home before you had to stop because you were so out of breath.

"(Y/N) I'm drenched" Yamaguchi panted as he bent over to catch his breath.

"Same" you replied as you looked down at your dripping clothes, "maybe this wasn't the best idea"

"It's fine, we're almost home" he said, "but I think we should walk for a bit."

You nodded as you waited for him to stand up so you could walk again.

There was no one around and the rain continued to fall, splattering all over the pavement and you could see both of your faint reflections in the puddles that had been lit up by the street lights. It was silent apart from the steady pitter patter of the rain and you sighed.

You began to hum quietly to yourself before you began to sing softly.

"I used to wanna be, living like there's only me"

Yamaguchi looked at you in confusion.

"But now I spend my time" you continued softly as Yamaguchi picked up on what was happening.

"Thinking 'bout a way to get you off my mind" he finished for you.

You looked at him with wide eyes before smiling gently.

"I used to be so tough" you carried on, singing a little louder this time.

"Never really gave enough" he continued as he raised his voice to meet your volume.

"And then you caught my eye" you sung as you winked at Yamaguchi jokingly, laughing at his surprised face.

"Giving me the feeling of a lightning strike" you sang together.

"Look at me now, I'm falling" you sang.

"I can't even talk, still stuttering" he continued.

"This ground of mine keeps shaking" you sand, even louder this time.

"Oh oh oh, now!" you sang together as you jumped towards each other on all the 'ohs' , grabbing each other's hands on the 'now'.

"All I wanna be, yeah all I ever wanna be, yeah, yeah Is somebody to you All I wanna be, yeah all I ever wanna be, yeah, yeah Is somebody to you" you sang in unison whilst gripping each other's hands and spinning around in the rain.
